They're in different seasons. Both aren't at the same time, in most schools. You can be both. You also sound like you have a stereotypical view of cheerleading and volleyball. Do some research.

I don't think cheerleading makes girls popular, I think many popular girls choose cheerleading.

Choose the one you like more, the one you're better at, the one that makes you feel good, the one you might continue in college.

I don't have an answer for the Mike question, but I don't think it depends on the right cheer/volleyball choice.

u should go for cheerleading. Ull get fit and exercise and ull be popular. Now if u do get in then im sure flirting with guys will be easy, since they will be the once going after u. Now ways to get the guy to like u is just be urself. When u see him smile at him and wave. That will make him notice. Next u can just say like, "hows it going, how r u" something like that. He`ll get the point by then and will go after u if he likes u back. U shouldnt worry too much about it tho.

my honest opinion is cheerleders are realy prepy and that gets really annoying and i know that alot of peple dont like that but if ur friends are in it then u should definatly do cheerleeding, vollyball is way cooler, but u wouldnt want to be a loner so i guess i would go with the cheerleeding if i were u. and about that boy just be yourself laugh at his jokes and just be friendly. thats all the advice i can give u. hope i helped.

popular decision at my school. LOL I would pick cheerleading. In cheerleading you can talk to the guy mike about football if he a football player. That got me 2 boyfriends so far. :~)

Hope this helps

I think you'd be pretty popular in volleyball too, maybe even more.....
Just smile at him and let him know you won't knock him down when he does come over to sa hi. Just be yourself.
Have a great year!
