I broke up with my ex 1 year ago because he did not want to get married. We still talked a lot after we "broke up" so i felt we were still together in a way. Anyway, he never told me but i later found out he started seeing someone else. Long story short i asked him if he would like to get back together again and he says "it's never good to go back" so basically no. I know he would like to remain friends but i know i cannot handle being friends with him while he is dating someone else. it hurts too much and he knows that. I told him that I don't think we should have contact anymore unless he wants to have a commited relationship with me and then we could talk. He told me he understood. But he still calls me every 2- 3 weeks. Once I did not pick up and he left a message saying that he knew I did not want to be friends but he felt like calling so he did and that it was nice just hearing my voice. He has also called me again but does not want to get back together. Why is he calling me??h

probably calling for a booty call or to make sure you haven't moved on, because it makes him feel like he still has you wrapped around his finger. He probably does still have you because you will not move on like you should. You broke up for a reason and its because he wont change, so why worry about him and continue to think of him. he is correct when you break up you never go back to the same person. that is right he told you exactly what should be going on. he has another girl firend if you were married he would treat you this way just hes doing now for some reason hes trying to use you and you need to get a life ad forget him and move on now.

change your number now!!!! he is just playing with your emotions.....he wants to have his cake and eat it .... as they say. if he cared about you really, he wouldn't be dating other girls....maybe he cares for you, but you need more, so if he isnt willing then why are you playing his game. MOVE ON>>>> trust me the sooner the better .... i made the same mistake....and he is still the same if not worse.
