Has anyone tried any of the internet dating sites (eg., match.com, yahoo personals, etc.), which are supposed to be guaranteed to find you someone special, and still had no luck?

After I never got her phone number? She sat next to me in science she talked to me A LOT. She always talks to me a lot normally. She is always asking me for homework in homeroom. She likes to write "hi" on my arm a lot. And she lightly bumps into me on purpose in the hallway. She signed my yearbook with I love her she is so sexy on a picture of her that she circled. She wrote hi Jeff on a bunch of pages in my yearbook. She drops her pen on purpose in science and makes me pick it up. She also says that I beat you about my grades on my tests/quizzes. Or she says "I hate you" jokingly if I beat her in test/quiz. Do yuot hink that from wha she did with me the relationship is ruined over the summer because I never got her phone number? Do you think she wants to see me at the start of the new school year in a couple weeks for not being in contact with me the whole summer?

I see that a lot of people are asking questions about being with an older guy. so here goes. I'm 23 and my boyfriend is 40..we are head over heels in love with each other. he has never been married before, doesn't have any kids, is the most amazing man, solid family background, he's well educated, has a PHD in Finance, he's European so has an open mind, he's very good to me, very respectful. I have not been married, don't have kids, as a matter of fact he's my first serious relationship after a 5 month one when i was 17. So the next few years I spent saying NO to everyone who asked me out, was interested, wanted a phone number and I don't know why, I guess i was just waiting for someone and I wasn't sure what... until I met him..and how you ask? well he was my professor however we didn't date until finals ended. and that's the truth. we were trying to be rather ethical about this and not cause problems for myself or him. but things turned out well l. I've known this really cute boy since grade 7, and he's a year older than me. He'll grate next year, while I'll be left behind. I will be taking a grade 12 course, so theirs a small chance that I'll end up in his class, but my problem is that... I've never spoken to him my whole life. He doesn't know who I am, but every time I come across him I look like a complete idiot. He probably thimks I'm stalking him, WHICH I'M NOT! But I don't know how to aproach him, wouldn't it be wierd to just go up to a stranger and say "Hi, I've had a crush on you since grade 7."

Me and my bf are really close but everytime we go to the mall this chick is always there and she runs over and jumps into his arms!! i get so pissed cuz they start flirting... yesterday i was just standing there all upset. i asked him if he liked her and he said no but im scared he does and wont admit it. i used to be friends with the chick but now its like we secretly hate eachother.. and i also asked him to ask her if she has feelings for him and she said no she just thinks hes hot.

I was with my bf for nearly 2 years. We broke up and he really humiliated me infront of his friends and lady friend since then he havent spoken. I used to be in love with this girl,but she onnly wanted to remain friends.Since that happened the friendship has been very rocky,contact was lost for 4 months.Whenever we hear about each others exploits we both get very jealous!I saw her this wkn wth mates and she wanted to chat to me alone.

She started asking me how I felt about her,why I couldn't tell her how I felt.I also asked her and she said she cares about me,I asked if thats all,she didn't answer.She then asked me about the girls I've been meeting,if I've slept with them etcShe then apologised for having a 1 night stand,saying she regrets it.We then hugged/kissed on the cheek/neck.

I told her she deserves better,but she said she can't change,it's who she is!She said I deserve someone better than her,I cud have anyone,why her?I said I care as we're friends+asked if she wants that to change-no answer from her!

We ended up arguing,I called her cheap/easy.She then suggested we brake contact for awhile.

I'm confused?

I met this guy at the local bar a year ago(he works there)we seemed to have a little connection and by the end of the night he had asked for my number(rumor had is he had a girlfriend)so i gave it to him but was a little hesatant.I left and went to a friends house,he is also friends with that person and found out i was there and came over,i was kinda distant for the fact I heard rumors he was dating someone(but i still liked him)i ended up crashing on the couch and little did i know he crashed on the couch too(his feet were in my face and my feet were in his face)he must have woken up and realized it and went on the floor.I did not know he crashed on the couch with me until his friend told me a couple weeks after.Could that have been a subconcious interest on his part?you would not pass out on someone you dont want to be around right?

When Im with my mother in law what do I do to let her know I dont want to talk to her really? I am sick of her asking about my businness ( she'll ask my man about my business more than asking me?? )and Im also sick of her calling my fiance 40 times a day to see what he's doing. Im 21 he's 24. This sh*it is ridiculous.. I wanna give her the finger in her face and just go off but what would be even better???? Shes so annoying, i dont want to do anything with her or for her. She has a poor personality, she complains, shes just the height of annoying. This guy I used to mess around with has been texting and emailing me for the past three weeks- some of the texts were not suitable for a guy who has a girlfriend (yes he has a gf!) and he is still flirting with me- but why?
He emailed me this lame "How are you doing" line today
(wamp wamp) I just dont get why he wont just let it go...

*See the thing is he didnt tell me he had a girl, I had to find out via myspace (yeah) he is "in a relationship"and we were still messing around! So I shot him the dueces and told him to get back @ me when he is single. He got mad and deleted me from his friends list (lol- laugh, it is funny!)

I have loved this man that I met 7 months ago. He went off to college far away now and I am still in high school. He was always flirting with me and I have the feeling that he is the one. We haven't talked much, but don't get me wrong. Whenever we look at each other I just want to melt. I just know that I love him. Anyways, I know that I should be patient, but he has not said anything to me yet. So I am having a hard time with this. I probably won't see him often at all now. maybe once a year. I don't want to betray him by flirt ing with other guys because I love him. The only thing that is bothering me is that I don't know how he feels about me. I was completely sick and down in the dumps when he left and still am. He is not my boyfriend!

What do I do??
