is it attractive or too over powering when you are with a girl who lands a great job/career? i just got an amazing job and my boyfriend is still finishing grad school - what would a typical guy think of his girlfriend in this case?

yetserday me my bf and my friend were in the car and while i was driving i saw a boy that used to be my friend. i met him about the same time i met my bf but when i met the boy i was single. well the boy i saw was good friends but then he started telling me how he wanted to be with me and he hopes we can have a relationship. but by then i had a bf so i told him no, so i didnt feel right talking to him anymore because i know that he wants to be with me so i ignore all his phone calls. so anyway while i was driving he saw me and i felt so bad beacuse he had just called me a hour earlier.

anyway when i dropped my boyfriend off at his car me and my friend that was in the car started talking about the boy we had just saw, and my bf got mad and said why do i have to talk when he gets out the car.

so i decided that night to tell my boyfriend about the situation because i love him and i thought i could tell him anything. but he got so mad but he said he just dosent feel good

i fell in love with a man that i worked with but b/c of personal reasons we could not be together and well we kept seeing one another for about a year then we stopped then we began again till april of this year, i truely love him and i miss him like crazy and i know he feels this way towards me but because of the obsticles we can't be together, we have not seen each other for 4 months now,i know that he still cares for me and i know that i still love him. i was doing good for a whle but then i just started thinking about him, i keep having these dreams that he just keeps popping in and b/c of that it makes me miss him more, i have recently started losing my appetite i don't eat as much as i did, i will eat only like twice a day but not major meals,i haven't lost any weight though since this just started recently, i find myself crying for him at times and well i have these really bad headaches almost everyday at first i thought i was getting a cold, but nothing could this be depression?

I was reading the Metro (Free newspaper distributed on the London underground) and I discovered the term 'Mr Boomerang'. This is guy you seem to always be breaking up with but for some reason you get back together with him and realise the very reason broke up with the 3 times before!! LoL

ok here is the short story...my bf went out with his usual guy friends for there usual monday night outing. the guys he hangs out with are good guys and they usually hang out at the local dive after work till about 11 at night. i spoke to my bf at about 10:30 and he said he was heading home soon. i woke up at 3 am and he wasn't home i called his cell no answer. i was awake all night worried about him.. i got up as usual to go to work and when i left at 8 he still wasn't home ! i came home for lunch he was there sleeping. and he missed a day of work and we are on a tight budget and can't afford that. so i have not spoke to him since monday night and he thinks i am over reacting i think he was very imature not to call to tell me he was ok. and we live togather .. would you be upset or am i over reacting? oh ya he has done this in the past and i have told him how upset it makes me.

My girl has been pressuring for a commitment (engagement) and I have finally decided she deserves one. Problem is I dont have money for decent ring yet and may not have it soon. Meanwhile she thinks I am using her and do not want to commit. So, what is better -

1. keep delaying whilst I save for a ring and she's frustrated or
2. Buy a not so good ring that I will replace later?

Please be honest. I won't be offended, cuz I've seen it all. As a lesbian when I get hit on by guys I'm usually between 3-4 depending on how cheesy they are, if I'm being honest. But they are respectful I'm certainly at 4 unless I'm having a bad day. I've been at 5 too on the rare occasion, but it never worked out.

...and we set up a movie date that same night for Friday at a theater. On Wednesday, he texted me to see if I was busy and to see if I wanted to come over and watch a movie at his house. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3.5 years. I always thought he was the one I was going to marry. Things have gotten really bad over the past 3 months. Can you guys really have meaningless sex with a girl for over a year.
How can you do that?
I was in love, and still am, with a guy who rocked my world, but i found out he had a fiance. The fiance and i found out about each other via a text msg i sent him, she found it and then called me back the next day when he was at work. Seeing a guy for last 6 months, was friends with him for couple of years before we got together. He split with last girlfriend at beginning of 2006 (after 5yrs) , after a few months of loneliness started to go back for 'sympathy shag' (rubbish thing to do but understand some people do it). Ex wanted him back and she fell pregnant. My fella gutted, thought was on pill etc (no excuse, told him he is responsible too). We got together and i said i understand the situation, he must be there for child but not to tell her about us till baby born (she is slightly phsycotic older woman who will go to any lengths to have him including saying she will kill herself).
Child born 3 weeks ago now, my guy is at his ex's every day visiting child (i'm ok with this) his ex is seeing him everyday and living 'in hope' of them getting back together. I have told him he must tell her we are together to allow her to get over him, i don't want to end up bitter but he scared she won't let him see the baby.

After 5 months of exclusive dating (his request), my "boyfriend" and I got into an argument because I expressed a concern about our relationship. He was the model boyfriend for a while, always called when he said he would - at least until recently. Even the sex was awesome! But he's never called me his girlfriend, claims he can't be in an emotional relationship (though his actions showed otherwise), & has suddenly started playing hot & cold. We're both 25. I asked that he start being more consistent, & even offered ways we could make it happen together. But he freaked out & ended the relationship. This was a huge blow to my ego. I thought addressing the problem would help solve it. I never expected him to end the relationship over this! What happened here? Was he afraid of confrontation? commitment? Was he just ambivalent? I'm so confused.
