Believe it or not, to quite a surprising number of people, purity still is an important issue- don't feel isolated or weird. Anyone who'll tell you you're weird because you believe in this, doesn't appreciate who you really are. Please don't allow anyone to pressure you into doing anything you don't believe in. Now as for this not having a boyfriend thingy- how can you find the right person if you don't look? Just make sure he doesn't violate your personal space, and if he can't live with that, he's gotta go, he's not the one. Just do what you feel is best for you, no matter how strange it may seem (to others, anyway). If you wanna go ahead and wait for Mr Right, before you give "it" out- you go right ahead, and feel good about it- trust me, you're not alone.

I thought that purity was important, but it is not really that important or that great. It is good to limit your partners, but if you have no experience it is harder to learn how to please your spouse. It is also more difficult to get close enough to someone to know that you really want to marry them.
When you stay pure it becomes more and more difficult to live alone when you feel like the time for marriage is right, but you are not absolutely sure.
I believe that children do not need to break their purity, but once you are in college I do not see a problem with that. Just be careful who you get too close to. There are people out there who are sick and may not tell you or may tell you when it is too late.
Take care,
Troy

I have kissed a girl, and I have had a girlfriend before... But I am a virgin. Are you insinuating that I'm "unpure"? I don't call myself "pure", but I do think that I still have a great degree of respect left for myself. I mean, I don't break the law and I'm an overall great guy, IMO...
I'm hoping that you're not one of those people that thinks that you're better than others, simply because you have never been physical with someone. Some people are like that, and it baffles me. Just be yourself, and things will come as they are meant to!

i beleive purity is defined by ones experience, not nessisarily sexual, but say if someone faught people, or killed things.... thats also a loss of purity, purity is like an innocence, untouched and unexperienced with all the things another may classify as being dominated by another, mentally seduced, or driven to violence and illegal actions. Things like that, sins for example to. Anywho, as for me, i'm not %100 pure, but i'm not filthy either.

Purity is overrated :) Seriously tho I dont believe in soulmates, out of 6 billion people in the world there is only ONE that you can be happy with? Thats crazy to me, but then i could be wrong...

I'm not particularly waiting for some mythological "perfect person". In the meantime I intend to experience life and that means having a sex life. If that makes me "impure" in your eyes then so be it.

Yes purity is a good thing. Check through the questions and you'll see girls who want their live-in boyfriends to marry them, and they won't.
