I don't call it loneliness... I call it being independent. The only times I call it loneliness is when I actually do wish someone was around.
I'm an overall independent guy. All my college roommates will definitely agree, because I do my own thing. I have no close friends, and haven't had a girlfriend in years. But, I look at it this way: I have nobody to bother me, and I have nobody to worry about... I have all my time, money, and thoughts to myself.
But sometimes I do wish I could meet someone...

Sometimes we all need to be alone. If you choose loneliness over the company of people on a regular basis it is not healthy. Cheer up a little and get out of the house.

I prefer to be alone but never with loneliness. Loneliness is a state of helpless ness that we also tend to feel even when we are in a crowd of familiar people. If you meant the former I am there in your company.*smiles

I can't handle many people around me constantly, it just frustrates me. One special person is enough, that's all i want, for the rest i feel more comfortable alone.
