I and my partner decided to have a break from each other since yesterday because we have been having problems with our relationship.since last month we have been constantly arguing because of issues such as respect and trust.i have been going out with him for two years but know the fights have been worse and i recently slapped him durin a heated argument of which he slapped me back.so we hav decided to take a break from each other..and conclude wen 1 is ready to talk simply call the other.how shud i handle this break and how and when is best to get bak together??should we negotiate on some issues (like i feel he treats me differently around his friends(with no respect))or should i just move on with my life without him??

My bf is very moody which is why he hurts my feelings often. I was in an emotionally abusive relationship before and wanted to prevent getting extremely hurt in my current relationship which is why I built a wall around me when I realized that my bf can hurt me. My ex went back to his wife in Jan this year. Since then i have been with a few men and got on well but as soon as it starts to become serious, i push them away as i still really really love my ex Please dont think i am some silly girl i am a grown woman, but i just cant help thinking about my ex.

I know i will never get back with him as i couldnt do that to myself and to much has happened but when will these feelings leave me, i dont want to keep thinking about him 24/7!!!!

well not entierly!! my friends hate him,, they think he treats me like a piece of dirt but they dont see him when he treats me good,, only when he treated me bad..

This was really happened to me.I am in love with a girl she also loves me a lot.suddenly her parents married her with another guy.But she still loves me.But she is moving with him without any happiness and satisfaction.I cant bare this pain of losing her,i cant judge myself that she is not mine.I am unable to understand how she is living with him.She says that life is going on without satisfaction.How to overcome this situation and keep my self normal.

I am trying to become a super hero right now. Actually I am trying to learn how to fly but that is besides the point. I am just afraid though that once I become a certified super hero I wont beable to find a girl to love me. Or if I do, then It would be unfair to love her because she could get hurt by my adversaries. Is it really worth me to become a super hero for my self satisfaction now even though it might mean me feeling empty in the future.

I am back in touch with my ex girlfriend. We split 5 mths ago when she ended things. She did it on the basis that "her feelings had changed". The end came pretty quickly, only 1 mth before she was talking about us moving in together.

A lot of other stuff was going on for her at the time. She was suffering from depression. I tried to say to her she shouldn't be making such a big decision when she was depressed but she was adamant she was fine. She has a history of depression since a teenager, long before I came along.

We both saw other people briefly. We are both now single.

We met up 3 times in 2 wks. She then went away on holiday for 2 wks. We are now meeting again.

We haven't talked about out relationship yet.

She told me her Dr said she doesn't need to take her anti-depresants anymore. She was prescribed these at the time we split, so the view that I take is that for her to have been on them for over 4 mths means she needed them!

Is it time for me to mention us??

When we first met I fell head over heals inlove with him and imagined us getting married but he was not keen on the idea because his marriage before went really bad. I have been messed around by him over the marriage thing, we did get engaged but after two years and no ring or mention of marriage I found out that he wasnt accually sure. He did propose to me after that but made it clear that marriage would mean nothing to him and he thought he had to do it so that I would live with him which was not true. Last year he said he wanted to buy my house for me as a gift but now he is saying that he feels he has to buy my house or I wont live with him, again not true. I completely went off the idea of marriage and now the same thing is begining to happen about him buying my house. I am afraid to build my hopes up because he seems as unexcited about this as he did about us getting engaged, infact he seems to feel under pressure again. I wish I had more words to work with! your thoughts please?

me and my gf has been going out for almost a month now, i love her to bits, i think bout her all the time, im 17 and she is 16 by the way, we once said we will move to eurpe and get married, she even named our daughters and sons! im a guy that hardly cry but when i think bout she leaving me, tears starts to leek out....sometime her attiude changes, sometime she is lovely, but sometime act as im her friend, i dont want this to change, i know you guys will say im young and all, but seriously i cant see myself meeting another girl like her, we gave each other our first kiss, she changed me because once i was a very friget guy, oh god i love her to bits honestly, once i was on the phone with her, i pretend that she is someone else, i jokingly said i dnt want you no more to that someone instead of my gf's name,,,and i made her cry,, so also she once said to me that "i hope we can be together forever" and that bought tears to my eyes]

I know I should move on. But its tough. I love the girl in some way. Long story short, she is bulimic, depressed and the works. She broke up with me (dissappeared). Dated someone right afterwards, broke up with him. She contacted me last week wanted to go have lunch, I agreed after a week, she said she was working and she would let me know. Never let me knew. Friday night I get like ten calls from her, she hangs up each time, then sends me text saying "I'm drunk and need you" all I said was "you ok?". Never heard from her. Next day I texted saying "you alright" "Can't help you if you call and hang up on me" She said "haha sorry about that". Haven't heard from her since. My question; If this girl truly wanted to be with me again, would she make more of an effort? Would she not want to see me at all costs? What should I do? Keep the No Contact till she contacts me again. What would be the best way to show her I want her back if she has changed and only if she is healthy?

in 2004 my boyfriends girlfriend died in a tragic car wreck, they were together for a couple of years and loved each other dearly.... he told me when she died he thought he would never love anyone like he loved her until i came along...he along with a lot of his friends tell me i am just like her...one time when we were arguing he said "you are playing games just like mandy"(that was her name)...he tells me he misses her a lot(which i understand i am not jealous)......i love him a lot and i know it is normal for him to miss her but i wanna make sure he loves me for me and not because i remind him of mandy....is this healthy that i am so much like her? your opinion please!
