I've been dating my boyfriend for ten months. We get along fine, and have fun together. However, sometimes his quietness gets to me. When we are walking outside, at times we'll walk in silence without a words. We can go to a restaurant and he'll sit there for a long time starring at me before he says anything. Or he'll sit there on the couch, think, but not say anything to me. I don't really know what's on his mind. The only time he talks is when I seem upset, or if it is about us. Other than that he doesn't really tell me much about him.

It also makes me feel insecure.

IN bed he squeezes me and it hurts and when he wraps he legs around me, i almost break. When he tickles me its really hard and during sex he almost throws me around everywhere and pulls on my **** like hes trying to tear them off. The other day he was giving someone directions and swung his hand and hit me in my face. It was an accident but he made my lip bleed and didnt even say "Baby im so sorry" or Hold me or something. He just continued to give the guy directions. He later said, that im a tuff cookie and im not. I actually cried (tears in my eyes) because it hurt.
Also he learned about this beaver chop thing and did it to me and that hurt alot. "For the sake of our relationship I need help. I almost want to move out and say no to any relationship for a while. were supposed to get married but im losing attraction for him because he doesnt treat me how he should. Im not some kunfu toy that can deal with that. Im a woman and I need to be treated like that.

Wouldn't you want the life of the party instead of a "thinker" that's just used to calmly doing what he likes to do all the time?

My son is turning 18 soon and has recently begun dating. However his first girlfriend has very small breasts, probably an A-cup. Now god bless his heart, he loves her ever so much, but I'd like to set a firm precedent to avoid future heartbreak.

I wouldn't want him to be ridiculed by his friends and classmates for 'going out with a flatty' as I would have been back in my younger years. Unendowed females are also generally emotionally unstable due to low self-esteem (I don't want a teenage drama queen on my son's hands!)

My biggest worry is that many years down the line, their female children would be 'flat chicks' as well. I'd like my son to be a spittin' image of his old man, and to help him avoid some obvious mistakes.

Should I forbid him from dating her or let him figure it out for himself over time?

my bf can be such a bore. I work during the week so I mainly have time to spend with my bf during the weekend. However, I feel like I have to beg him to hang out with me at times. We live 30 mins apart and if i don't call him to hang out he will just not call all day until at night when I am ready to sleep. today, for e.g., is a beautiful day otuside and I want to do stuff outdoors. I call him and ask him if he wants to go do something since the day is so nice and he is just like go ahead without me I 'm going to cook. I know he isn't really an outdoorsy person but don't you think he can at least make the sacrifice sometimes. And even if he wants to stay home and cook how about inviting me to cook with him. I always have to suggest stuff otherwise we never do anything together and the only time we hang out together is if we watch a movie at the theater or my house. Am I being unreasonable for wanting him to make the effort to do stuff together. Do I try too hard? Help!

Girls are welcome to answer this one too.

I was just wondering would you guys even care if the girl you really like/love has a certain skin condition such as keratosis pilaris (kp)?
Or would you just accept her and still love her the way she is?

This question includes the rest of the imperfections we girls are insecure about out there. Thanks. =)

I'm out of a long-term relationship and I know I have to go out and meet people rather than dwell on the past. The people I meet, we hang out casually (not "casual sexually", guys...casually). I'm not ready for a new relationship and I make that known, but the people must see something in me or what I do/say that just makes them glom on like I'm "the one" or something. I would LOVE to find that person again, but I'm not ready. I can't seem to heal and get out in the world because I can't go hang out with someone without them, like, wanting a future together..no matter their age. What makes so many people see "their future" in me? I'm successful, but not set. I'm not ugly. I care for people, but I'm also fun. I just want to go hang out not alone sometimes, but it seems that being alone keeps me from hurting more people, so I feel trapped. HELP! Maybe it's the fact that I DON'T show too much interest and I'm trying to be fine by myself that makes me a "challenge"?

If you like a girl, or even love her, would you love all her imperfections too? BIG and small?

The world is just becoming way too superficial for me.

Thanks for the answers!

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 3 months. Most of that time he has been away at university but now he is back home, it's still difficult to see him regularly since he wont tell his parents about us. I dont understand why he wont! He said he will when he goes back to uni but that means wasteing all that time wecould have together!
His mum is pretty bossy and controlling from what I've heard of her and I know guys find it more difficult to lie to their mums than girls do to make life easier, why doesnt he tell her? I have no problem in meeting his parents. I vaguely know them from church and apparently she doesnt like my family even though shes never properly met me!
But he is 19 and he should be able to go out with whoever he wants and he should be mature enough to tell them! He says he doesnt want to "wreck the family stability"!
He's going to tell them so why not now? It'll makethings so much easier fo everyone!
How can i persuade him to make him tell them about us?

I have been in a 2yr relationship with my boyfriend & we were going to get married in Aug. Just a month ago he told me there was a possibility that he might be a father. This woman that he dated a while back now comes telling him that she has a 4yrold and that is his. When they were dating she dissapered from one day to another and now she comes back & tells him that she wants him to met the boy because is his. According to her she is going back to where she was because she has started a life somewhere else and that she has a partner. He accepted me with my 7yr old son but, now I don't know what I should do, do I continue with my plans or just give up on him.I am so confused,I love him but i feel betrayed because I feel that he probably knew this and he waited to tell me so if anyone please give me adviceThank you .appreciate it.He has been a great father figure for my son there is no doubt about that.He is my soulmate & I can't see my life without him.

suppose you fall in love with a girl, and everything's going great, until about six months into it, when a huge financial tragedy strikes. this will cause you to be absolutely dead broke for the next five years. since she has kids, you know that she needs someone who can be a good provider for her and for them. you also know that she loves you to the point that she'll never leave you or give up on you, no matter what happens. do you leave her for her own sake, as to not drag her and her kids through your problems, and encourage her to find someone better, or is there another way? is it selfish to stay with her?
