Would you guys see past all that?

Girls are welcome to answer this one too.

I was just wondering would you guys even care if the girl you really like/love has a certain skin condition such as keratosis pilaris (kp)?
Or would you just accept her and still love her the way she is?

This question includes the rest of the imperfections we girls are insecure about out there. Thanks. =)

to answer directly - yes I would see past it, accept and love her just the way she is.

If you find a man that is unable to, he is far too self centered and there isn't much room left in his heart for anyone but himself. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

I know where you are coming from. I have that skin condition and it really bothered me when I was younger. But finally, I came to understand that it is just a part of me and I can't change it, so let it be and stop worrying. I've had several boyfriends and it never bothered them. Besides, we ALL loose our looks in the end. It's the personality that will become stronger. An intelligent guy will understand this. So try to let go of your insecurities and be upfront about kp. I've had people ask about it, and I answer. Don't be shy about it or try to hide it. Besides, it means you most likely come from Celtic descent. How cool is that?

No I wouldn't especially if I liked them/loved them because physical beauty isn't really the most important thing I mean its nice but to me not the 1st thing I look for in a woman I mean don't get me wrong! Physical beauty is just an extra bonus but I'm looking for someone who is beautiful on the inside before I judge them on the outside because you know everyone gets old some day but I also think that woman are like wine they get only more beautiful as they mature with age. But then again thats just the kind of man I am.

I think that if a guy really love you, yes he'd see past all that. Most guys, at least the one I was in love with anyway, seem to think of their loved one as being perfect in every way no matter what flaws they have. They'll always love you for you. That's also how you know if you've found one of the good guys out there.

beauty is skin deep but love goes through the heart if loving someone had to do with skin color, body structures, color of eyes, hair and shape of teeth, size of shoe they wore, where they come from, then a lot of us wouldnt have been born. it dont matter what color skin or skin disease a person may have or may not have, love them for who they are and not what they have or dont have. what if God felt the same way would YOU be alive? after all, noone is perfect and we all have some disease in us and on us. however you take it, take it how anyone would if you were the one with the skin condition.

I would see past all that if i had known her for long, been her frend first, lover later. Only if i have been in love with her soul and not her body. Noone knows, i might get the same thing tomorrow coz upstairs is funny. God really makes you learn the most difficult math in a easy way and that is his way. They too are human just like me and not their fault to be what they are. They didn't ask for it.

I have no idea what that condition is, but when I fall inlove with a girl, none of her imperfections will affect it unless it's a moral or personallity imperfection.
If you really love someone, you don't care about their imperfections - that's why love is blind...

i think love/like is more than skin deep.e.g. its like meeting or knowing someone with really bad acne ,but beyond that acne that person has got a really great personally,always make you feel good whenever they are around. i think if someone has a problems with imperfections,well that individual has a major imperfections themselves,which is there attatitude,immaturity and selfishness.

Notice how when you marry a person and the vowels you must speak include "and to love you unconditionally" yep, if you really do love that person you will always regarldess of any condition, if not that way, then you dont love that person at all.

if a guy really loves u then he wont care about ur skin. he's not going out with u or didnt fall in love with u bc of ur skin.
