My son is turning 18 soon and has recently begun dating. However his first girlfriend has very small breasts, probably an A-cup. Now god bless his heart, he loves her ever so much, but I'd like to set a firm precedent to avoid future heartbreak.
I wouldn't want him to be ridiculed by his friends and classmates for 'going out with a flatty' as I would have been back in my younger years. Unendowed females are also generally emotionally unstable due to low self-esteem (I don't want a teenage drama queen on my son's hands!)
My biggest worry is that many years down the line, their female children would be 'flat chicks' as well. I'd like my son to be a spittin' image of his old man, and to help him avoid some obvious mistakes.
Should I forbid him from dating her or let him figure it out for himself over time?

Uck! What the heck kind of superficial father are you that you are more concerned about your son's girlfriend's breasts than his happiness. I am a 34A (only now due to age, was always 32A). I have always been self consious about my size and it is people like you who make it worse. I have a son and let me tell you something. If he was madly in love with a girl with no boobs, I'd be damn happy just to know he found someone he can love. And as for his kids being "flat chicks". My daughter is 7 and wears the same size bra as me. Down the road however, your son's girlfriend is going to be much better off than her 36D counterparts, because at least she will not be suffering from back pain due to disgustingly saggy breasts. Maybe you should consider that. Wow, I could go on and on to you because you sound like the most superficial, insensitive person and I feel very sorry for both you and especially your son. I hope he has enough brains to figure out that it doesn't take a big set of boobs to be happy in life. If that were the case, my hubby would be "FLAT" out miserable. Get real and give your son a break. I'm sure he's got better instincts about people than you obviously do. You sound like a typical male pig!

alright, as a female I will try and level with you but this statement is offending to all women. You should know that we can't fix the size of our breasts unless we undergo plastic surgery. That being said, you are also stereo typing all women with small breasts being emotionally unstable. If they are emotional its because of men like you. Now I do understand that b/c of the small size your son may get ridiculed, but I doubt it will be as bad as you say. Most people respect a person being in a relationship and if his friends are tormenting him about it than he needs to find new friends.
Keep in mind though, that it is said some women mature later than others, and most continue to grow till about 25 years of age. Also birth control can increase the size too, as well as having children.
Last but certaintly not least, your son being 18 is an adult and is capable of handling and making decisions in his life. You cannot control him and you sound like you are trying to. Its his life, let him live it and make his own mistakes. Him being an adult, you can't really forbid him, and thats a really dumb reason to anyways. If he really likes this girl, deal with it. Maybe it'll last, maybe it won't. What about her personality? Its really shallowing that all you are caring about is her breast size. I would ashamed if my father acted this way. In this day and age, there is so many more important issues to focus on and worry about than what will happen if his kids are flat chested. Shame on you.

Oh, you are right. You should forbid him from dating a girl with small breasts. There is nothing better than huge breasts with nipples the size of a soda can for a fulfilling life. Tell him that either he finds a suitable girl with big breasts or he will be sorry in the future. If he explains this (or you could) to this A-cup girl, if she means anything to your son, she will immediately start saving for a boob job. There ARE important things in life and this is one of them.

I cannot believe what I've just read!!What a ridiculous thing!Why are guys always care about how a girl looks, I mean if your son loves that girl wether she has big or small breast,a big fat or an ugly booty!She is the girl that makes him happy and u can't do anything about it, u don't have the right to tell your son what woman to choose!Respect your son's decision for God's sake!

First if they are in love you might as well let them be. Why worry about if your son has a small chest girl. If she is pretty you might as well be happy. Next her chest can grow especially if she gets pregnant. Don't forbid him to date her because that can back fire on you. If anything let him learn on his own. Wait it out and see if his friends are calling his girlfriend 'flatty' or whatever. Some things kids just have to learn on their own.

Hey, chances are that if you're son dates a woman with breast implants, she will have flat-children also.
The dna is all that counts. Also, why not just give your grandchildren trust-funds which pay for breast augs.
It probably only takes $300 to turn into $3k in 18 years with compound interest.

Mind your own business dad. I have friends who wish their daughters-in-laws main problem was a flat chest.
How about a girl that is mental unstable; or has medical problems that will never be cured.
You are a very shallow person. And at age 17 or so many girls have not developed.... find a real problem to worry about.

Whoever your son ends up dating, we can expect to see a question from her very soon on Yahoo! answers - "My boyfriend's dad is creeping me out. He can't stop looking at my breasts. What do I do?"
If you're going to associate body parts to personality traits, then the real question is why is your scope of thinking so small?

U r seriously childish!!! Small breasts do not = abnormality or a disease in a woman. She is still EVERY bit a woman, she is capable of bringing life into this world and nuturing her children with even her small breasts.
And yes, wait till you see how large breasts can sag after pregnancy, breastfeeding and age...
Look for your info no one is perfect except for supermodels. And even so their bodies can change with pregnancy, breastfeeding and age.
BUT the woman's body bear testament of what she has lovingly gone thru.
