I'm 5"2' and i really need a really tall guy to be my boyfriend but all the tall guys at my school are taken. It doesn't help that i'm a tomboy and am considered to be best-girl-friend instead of girlfriend. So how do i get guys to like me as a girlfriend instead of a best friend? Do I need to be someone i'm not or do i just stick it out for now and wait.? plz help...

Me and my boyfriend have been together for about 6 months, and we have a good relationship for the most part. But lately we've been having communication issues, and I've been taking them personally.

On Friday he came over and I had the intention of breaking up with him. But I didnt. We watched Hostel. Usually when we "watch a movie" we're all over each other. We didnt try to get in each others pants like usual. We did still make out, but we talked about a lot of stuff and then we were sitting there and we were goofing off. Like I started laughing and I couldnt stop, then we "wrestled" over the remote, my stomache was growling and he was like "Dont make me carry you upstairs and feed you," It was the most fun I've ever had with him, while we were hanging out alone.

After all that I dont want to break up with him. He's actually trying to call me more now.

My question is, is this a good sign for our relationship, that the communication isnt a problem

As in, start a relationship? I mean, you can ask "Hey wanna go to the movies Friday night?" to anyone, who's just your friend, and stays your friend. I want to know how you start a relationship. Do I ask, "(Name) will you go out with me?" or "(Name) will you be my girlfriend?" Or is it not even that? And I'm not asking how to start talking to a girl or how to go someplace with a girl that I dont know. The girl I'm after now, I've known for a while and been to places with her before. I want to know how to start a relationship. I mean, how did your relationships start?

I'm still in love with my ex boyfriend after breaking up with him 4 or 5 months ago. a female friend of mine smacked a guy across his face for being rude. i was surprised. i was like "damn, you got some right". and i told her, i wouldn't have expected it if i was him, i would've thought the left would be it, just playing around. she says, nope, most girls nail guys with the right, usually works. if you ladies have done that to a guy before and got him, left or right, out of curiousity? just want to see if my guess is on about this.

I am going out with a great guy who treats me wonderfully i couldnt ask for anything more and i have a great career ahead of me, but the problem is i am very insecure and i fear losing him or i start to think he doesant love me anymore and for no reason at all. I was in a really bad relationship previously in which i was physically and mentally abused i think this is where all this is stemming from. But i just want it to go away and for me to have my confidence back and to believe it when i am told i am loved, beautiful, a good person all those things which i believe i am not. i met the guy of my dreams a few months ago and fell head over heels. i love him soooo much and i know he loves me. i had just gotten out of a relationship and was afraid of getting hurt again so we agreed to take it slow. then all of a sudden he calls me at work and tells me you know i love you and i enjoy your company but im going to try to work things out with my ex because we invested alot...... but i want us to continue to be friends and i still love you. he broke my heart into pieces. he still calls everyday we still go out... and sleep together, he complains about her all the time but it seems shady if she's so bad why did he take her back?, being second place is killing me, but everytime i tell myself im worth more and i need to let go....i just cant. our connection is much to strong, i Never encourage him to leave i just try to be a friend and listen..... then i ask myself what are you waiting for? Some of you are going to roll your eyes at this because I've been with this guy for so long but I'm honestly seeking an answer. If your going to be heartless or rude don't read any further.

I've been dating this guy for 2 years (3 years come november) and we're living together have been for about a year. I'm 20 and he's 22. We met when we I was 12 & he was 14 (shared a journalism class) My boyfriend shows no affection at all, if he goes to give me a kiss goodbye its a kiss on the cheek, he doesn't say he loves me to my face, he's only said it when he thinks i'm sleeping, i've never once gotten anything sentimental from him and when i did a radio dedication to him that got played by Kasey Casem and he heard it and looked at me and said "YOUR SUCH A GIRL"

Why does he do this, he doesn't show any affection and I don't know why he doesnt. I'm not afraid to tell him I love him, ive done it many times before so why can't he do the same or something to show his feelings?

well we have been together for 8 month now supose to get married in july and move together, but he's listening to lies other people are telling him when hes asking me to trust him. he even call up my ex boyfriend to ask sh i tt about me so my ex lie to him now he saying that he tought i was good im a liar and a whore. hes been go on for 8 month hes a soldier, i have never not even once cheated or even think bout doing that, he cant trust me and that hurt so badly that he would believe other's even my ex before me i dont wanna marry a men that do not love me i dont know what t do i love him so much and i cant stop crying, and i think that he dont trust me nomore then before.

i asked this girl for her number at school
she seem flatter... she was smiling... she said she doesnt know her cell phone number... than i said i cant call you sometime? she said theres problems and its complicated to explain... and i left it at that. couple days later i gave a note to her friend to give to her. inside the note was my number and at the bottom i put your friend.... was that bad? anyways i havent seen her at school shes been sick and hasnt called me. im wondering if her friend gave her the note to her... her friend is a guy who is gay... she lives with her grandparents... so her problem is with her parents... today i think she was trying to get my attention... she was always going towards my way to get something in class... she could of went a different way to get something... how do i approach her??? i dont want to be a stalker or a creep to her... i think she likes me a lilttle bit, but shes playing hard to get. need advice... were in highschool

My ex-girlfriend and I broke up in September of 2006 and since then we have not been in contact since. I have not heard a single word from her. We were in a relationship for 2 years and 15 days and when we broke up I lost contact with her and her family.

But this past Wednesday, I received a call from her father. He left me a voicemail, saying he "was just wondering how I was doing, if I was still going to school in the city, talk to you later."

I called him back a couple hours later and he didn't answer so I left him a message saying hi and told him what was new in my life and school, and I told him that I was leaving to go back home in one month.

Why would he be calling me now? I mean, I haven't heard from him or his daughter who broke my heart in over 6 months.

Before the breakup there was mention of me transferring to another school, and in one month I have to go back to Arkansas for the summer. Could my ex have told him to call? Should I see her before I leave to go back home?

I'm 39, never married & no children. He's 38, never married & no children. He's always very sweet, generous and respectful to me. We get along well, but I am confused about whether he is dating me for the right reasons.

My concern is because when I asked him about his past relationships & why they ended, he told me that his last 2 girlfriends were not what he was looking for. He said he knew from the start that the relationship would not go anywhere, but he thought "what the heck & decided to date them anyway".

He also told me when the last girlfriend he dated told him those 3 little words he knew he had to break-up with her. So I am scared to tell him how I feel, plus when I tell him how great I think he is, he replies with "you're sweet".

We have met some of each others family. The past 2 girls did'nt meet his family, even one that he dated for 8 months. We have dated around three months.

Do you think he genuinely likes me or is he dating me for the heck of it?
