i am 12 shy and a girl... i have a dance friday and i am going to dance with my boyfriend..... how do i kiss him if i want to and when we leave

You are probably too young to kiss as yet. Perhaps a chast kiss on his cheek, to say thank you for the dance.
Or just a gentle closed lips kiss on his lips, nothing too long, or heavy.
As you get older, you will learn the different styles of kissing, just don't rush into it.
At your age, you won't be expected to know a great deal about kissing, and as your boyfriend, is most likely the same age as you. He's having the same thoughts as you too.
so make it simple, and make it sweet, and make it a quick peck.

just lean in and kiss him. i recommend you do this while slow dancing. its more romantic.
french kissing? meet lips, open your mouth, stick your tongue in, and massage it into his. theres no "right" or "wrong" way. everyone has their own ways. just go with the flow.
