I am leaving to go to hawaii and my boyfriend and I broke up due to this. I would like to write a song in a book i bought him that has to do with how much he means to me and how much I love him and how I wish he would stay with me no matter what. Any suggestions?

My daughter is going to her junior prom. She was asked by a shy boy (I got the impression that he's very nice..he gave her a dozen roses when he asked her. Took a lot of nerve if he's shy, so I give him a lot of credit.) She's a relatively outgoing person with a good head on her shoulders and a lot of common sense.

Since her mother and I are divorced, I'm not up on a lot of her social activities, but I believe this is might be her first real date. Her date's family doesn't have a lot of money (that's not an issue) and it doesn't matter since the dinner and dance are held in one place.

My questions: #1) I want to meet this young man just to say "hello" and to see my daughter all dressed up. If I asked her if it was OK to just drop by for 2 minutes, do you think that would be too much to ask?

And #2) since her date's funds might be limited, is there anything that I could do or get the two of them to make it even more special than it will already be?

Ok, so we were going out and I thought everything was doing ok for us..... then his friend came over to his house, and everything we were building crashed. I am a separated father of 3 teenagers and my x wife is keeping things somewhat difficult in visiting them. Most of my commnications is txt messaging or long email. I have been separated for about 3 years. I never dated or met anyone that interested me or had not much time. In the past 8 months I have run into someone from philippines and has blossom into a wonderful relationship. The thing is to get her to Canada I will have to spend sometime there and I feel a bit guilty for my kids even though I talk to them on internet and will return. I've never been asked out and i've never known of a guy liking me.. (im 16btw) so i naturally.. thought i was ugly or something.

i've recently accepted that im not ugly.. my friends are honest.. they dont tell the 'friend truth' they tell the truth truth.. and they all tell me im pretty.. and according to a guy friend.. not a girl.. a guy told me im not fat.. i know im not skinny... but im normal size.. with a good shape... im not flat chested by any means.. and i've never had anyone say anything about a bad attitude... and recently.. i've had dudes all over the place checking me out and one of my friends even told me that her brother was looking through her pictures and said i was hot...

so why the hell dont guys show interest in me? i may not be the most sociable person.. but everyone knows who i am... and i get along with almost everyone..

he's turning 17 in two weeks, i turned 14 in february...
he's AWESOME
we only see eachother once maybe twice on the weekends at practice... He lives about 6 HOURS away...
He has a gf...
He had a crush on me for a couple months b4 he met his gf...
I've had a crush on him since i met him 1 1/2 yrs ago..
it's no longer a crush...
we chat daily online and we tell eachother EVERYTHING...
when we see eachother we both smile then blush...

so this guy asked me out two weeks ago, and i no him very well from work and i decided to hang out with him. he flirted with me the entire night and everything was great and as time went on the more he flirted with me and told me he liked me, then he stopped talking to me for while and later told me he was scared of relationships so i backed off. Alright so my boyfriend broke up with me 3 weeks ago. and during this time period I was still calling him and letting him know how upset it made me. He would never come right put and say he didn't want to have anything to do with me anymore, he just needed time to figure things out. he said something just didn't feel right. So I quit calling and he started calling. He called me last week one day twice and then the next day and every time he just wanted to know how i was and what i was up to. he never said anything about getting together. I never called. But then he waited a day then called me on saturday to say he wasn't gonna call me anymore cause i wasn't calling him. he sounded sad. then we went on to tell each other that we mi8ssed each other and then i asked him to come and see the next night. and he did. Things went well and i was very happy to see him and he was very happy to see me. and he said other things regarding that hes been thinking about me and missed me.

and he was very affectionate towards me. it felt like we were back together again. so i just don't know if i just got used or if he really meant it. i know only he knows the answer to this, but i guess my question is do i just flat out ask, or do i just wait it out and keep giving him his space. its not just him now that is confused, he really hurt me and i don't want to start anything up again until he is 100% sure. so do i give space still or do i confront?
