I have read the answers to this question but my situation is a little different. A friend I have known for about 20 yrs dated this girl for about a month. She decided they just weren't on the same page and stopped dating him and became just friends. Now she and I like each other but neither of us want to lose him as a friend or cause a bunch of drama. I would like to add that my friend and I are 43 and she is 36. My friend has kids, she has no kids and niether do I. I always wanted kids but time just passed by too quickly, she said the same. At our age it is difficult to find a partner that wants kids cuz people my age have already been thru it. She and I have done nothing except talk, we decided to talk with him about it, we are not seeking hs permission, we are seeking his continued freindship. She and I agreed that if it bothers him then it bothers us and she and I will not get together. Is this whole thing just a bad idea?

Heres the deal....there is this guy at my school and he has no problem hooking up with any girl he pleases...and he aslways acts perverted with them...but whenever he is around my friend Desi he is nervous and shy and somewhat sensitive...once he got really close to her face and she said "what r u doing?" and he said "Oh, just testing." and then the rest of the night was really awkward...What did he mean by that? Does he really like her or something?
