why is it that ya'll find blondes more attractive than burnetts/red heads/auburns??? i just dont get it?! HELP me understand please ??? :]

The guys that are, are trophy hunters, and are less interested in you than in bagging hyped game.

Ever see a good looking guy with an ugly blond? That's usually just another notch on his headboard..."Blond" just sounds prettier when you're telling the rest of the guys who you scored with last month.

First let me say that I prefer redheads/auburn over blonds. That said, it has a lot to do with advertisement. If you look at the ads where drinking, fast cars, and most other commercials aimed at men between 21 and 35, you will see a large percentage of them have at least one Blond, if not only a Blond. So the perception, and thus the attraction, comes from the constant bombardment that "good times = blonds".

Personally, I don't find blondes more attractive. And I know many that would agree... though clearly some people have preferences towards blondes.

As the trait for blonde hair is a recessive gene, blonde hair would be more uncommon. As something less seen, it certainly could have developed as something viewed as more exotic and desirable back in times before changing one's hair color was as easy as today. Which would lead to those sayings like "Gentlemen prefer blondes."

Ultimately though, while many men might like blondes, I assure you that the person still matters a lot more. And a nice warm smile is attractive no matter what the color of her hair!

It depends on the guy. I rarely find blondes more attractive. There's something sexy and European-like about brunettes and it turns me on. Also, blondes aren't naturally less intelligent, but since that stereotype exists, they actually act as if they are. It's an actual psychological effect. Just like if everyone keeps telling you that a movie you saw is horrible, even though you originally liked it, you are also going to start thinking it's bad. So when everyone passes the blondes-are-dumb stereotype around, they begin thinking they are and acting like it.

But yeah. For the record, it depends on the guys. I love darker hair. Not to say I wouldn't date a blonde if I was attracted to her, but this is my answer.

Not all men/guys are attracted to those with blonde/light hair -

Some men actually find personality/soul to outweigh the phsyical appearance.

And some men love a red hair/ auburn/black hair on women/other men.

Women do the same thing. I mean for guys with fair hair.

I think it's because people with light hair are more easily seen, and stand out in a crowd. Seriously.

It is absolutely ridiculous the number of women who flirt with me, for example - I'm not complaining, I'm not bragging - I'm just sayin'.

Check yourself out - see who you're looking at when a crowd of people get off an elevator, for example. Your eyes will be drawn to the blonde chic with the big hair because it's so visible.

I think it more depends on skin tone, if she's really white auburn looks better or red. With a bronze tan blond looks better. It's all about the color matchup not the hair.

This is a huge generalization. I prefer brunettes. There are attractive blond women as well, but there's tons of men that like brunettes, and red heads over blondes. As long as they have big chests..I don't worry about their hair color.

First I perosnally don't like blondes, but most guys do becuase its is a fanatsy issue. Guys picture them selfs with hot models, strippers and porn stars, which most all dye thier hair blond for the guys to look at them. I'm not saying to dye your hair blond to get guys, but that is how the real world sees beuaty 6 foot blondes with legs that don't stop. Girls are the same way about guys. They see only one hair and body type as being hot. But we all know it is the beuaty in the heart that matters the most!!!!!!!
