Me and my crush are pretty big on tennis. I have to play him in a important game at practice tommorow and im wondering if i should beat him (im almost positive that i can), or if i should let him win because i know that all of his guy friends will make fun of him for losing to a girl. Plzz help.

Never let a man win just so he can impress his friends, or you can seem "feminine" enough. If the guy really likes you, he'll respect the fact that you are a great athlete. Be true to yourself above all!

I was a female athlete in high school and college and still participate in 5K's and stuff. I was always faster at long distance running than most of the guys I dated and the ones who were so determined to beat me, and couldn't stand losing to a girl didn't last. My boyfriend now is into body building, and he doesn't even challenge me. He appreciates that I am good at running, just the same was as I know I'll never be that strong in the weight room. A real man will be able to take it if you beat him!

Good luck on the match!

You should play to win and if you do then so be it. I say this for several reasons: -
1. It will provide a good indication of the kind of guy he is, he should be gracious in defeat and if he is not I suggest that could cause much bigger probles in other respects if you guys get together.
2. It could be that he knows you are a good player and wants to test himself. If you do not take him seriously that could put him off and if he were to find out you let him win that may really upset him.
3. Sure his mates might tease him but they will forget it in 5 minutes and he could of course start dating you and make out he let you win (though I am not sure what your take on that turn of events would be).
4. It is simply great to get one over a guy at sport - go for in and beat him and let us know how you did. Good luck!!!

Never let a man win! If you think you can beat him, then do it! If he gets angry, then he's not someone that is worth having a crush on. Most guys I know have more respect for a girl that can kick his *** in something that he's good at also. Like, my husband and I play Dance Dance Revolution together... and there are times when I out play him. He loves it, it's more fun for him to play with someone who can keep up with him.

i wouldn't let him win. being competitive is a good thing in a relationship, as long as it's healthy.

letting him win will hurt his ego more than help it. if you're good enough at tennis to beat the hell out of him, then do it. don't lessen yourself to make him feel better. let him love you because you're better at some things.

It wont be a big deal to his friends if he loses to a girl. Just play as hard ad good as you can. and if you beat him you can later use it as a little joke.

Don't let him win. Bring your best game. He will lose respect for you if you intentionally lose to him. Don't even think of what his friends will say or do. They aren't even a concern.

honestly i think you should beat him because if you let him win he will think you are weak and i don't think he will care to much and if his friends make fun of him maybe he will look at you differently
