Being proactive rather.
If a lady asked in a chic, tasteful manner then that's really thumbs up!
It's good to show initiative at times instead of waiting for providence or fate.
Aggressiveness to me means something negative, rude and in a crude manner. If so... think noone should offer any information freely at all.
Asking is one thing... the other party is in no obligation to respond if he doesn't like it. Just reject gently.

I guess if they know what they want they might as well go for it. If a woman asked me those questions I would be flattered as long as I thought it was a good purpose like a date.
