Singles & Dating - 29 March 2007

Yesterady, one of my girlfriends return to her country. We are from different countries and we met for a year. I feels broken hearted of her return. I am really in agony.

But the problem here is this is not the first time for me. It happened to me several times before. I used to fall in love deeply to the girl close to me. For some girls it's only one sided and for some girls we loved each other. But no girl lasted long for me and we had to depart anyhow. I felt painful everytime. To be the truth, I never have the two girlfriends at the same time and believe it or not, I never have had sex with them. It means I loved them not for sex.

But I don't want to suffer this pain again..
What should I do?

my boyfriend and i have been together for 2 years, we aren`t your average lovey dovey couple. we pretty much joke around with eachother all the time, calling eachother names(not bad) but jokingly. once in awhile he has his sweet moments to me, but it's very rare. lately i have been missing him be nice/sweet to me. it's been so long. i've mentioned it to him but he just jokes around about it. i guess it's partially my fault because i am such a sarcastic/joking person, but any girl likes to hear their boyfriend be sweet to them, it makes them feel good. anyone else agree? how can i get him to lay off joking around and be serious once in awhile ::sighs::

We see each other in the halls and make pleasant eye contact. We mutually broke up and it's been a long time since then, almost a year. We used to be best friends until we tried dating and I miss him as my best friend. I really want to talk to him again but I can't even gather a "hello." Help?

I'm 38 and have never felt true love. Now I have dated lot's of men but nothing that worked or lasted. I'm an attractive woman, but always seem to find what I am not looking for. I have my men standards which are reasonable like: have a job, family oriented, intelligent, gentle but not a punk...things like that. I sometime feel like I'm meant to be alone. I guess I'm just ready to settle down. I have two girls 15 & 9 and I pray that one day they will see me in a healthy,fullfilling relationship. Summer is approaching so hopefully I can meet someone special. I do believe in the saying "Don't look for love let it find you"...but damn. I don't dwell on it and I'm enjoying my life but sometimes I wish I had strong warm arms to hold me. I guess I had to get this off my chest. Is there anyone else out there who is around my age or older that is scared they will never find that true "I can't breathe without you love"? Or is it just me? ( it feels like I'm the only one waiting)

were both 17. this girl has pillow fights with me, puts her photo into my phone as wallpaper, calls up my friends, even parents for jokes, even though i dont find it amusing, always laughs at my jokes, she gets very close to me, and wont move away.....and likes to touch me alot, and play with things i have. i get mixed signals though, as sometimes during the day she wont talk to me at all, cause she studies, but when were together she cant stop talking, and offering me food, and drinks, and going out places.One thing she does alot is curls up and goes to sleep for like a minute,and then wakes up, and does it again......whats all this mean???she also tells me about times when shes stressed at school and so forth....one thing thats really wierd though, she likes to know what her name is on my phone when it rings???.........need help, im from canada btw guys. I like this girl heaps, and need her to know that, cause im really scared of losing her to someone else

I was /supposed to spend the night with him and I was gonna go over after he got off work. Well he gets off at 11 and a girlfriend asked me out for drinks for a special occasion. I stayed a little later than usual. Well when I called him and told him this situation and that I had to go home before coming over he got an attitude like he didn't want to talk. He doesn't drink and I do and I drank that night. So again he has attitude. He always stands me up especially for his sister and if he has plans with her he will shorten ours and make it on her am i wrong

Recently broke up with my boyfriend, I was so fed up with his disrespectful comments! Then his mood swings, I never did nothing right! If we went to the baseball field to see the boys play a game...he swears I am just there checking everyone out...MEN!!! This man was 365lbs....and yes i did love him. I am NOT that heavy and he would put me down so much!! Why???? Did it make him feel better? About himself!!! Then he would truely get so upset and cry when I just packed up and left!! He talks about counseling.....Why would that work? I just keep running back and forth..... confused, miss him when i get lonely and you know how it goes!! He says he wants to get married someday!! And I wish i could but in my heart this man is just going to be good for A WEEK and back to the same ol stuff!!! He tells me I need medication and that I need to go to the doctor and I cant believe he thinks its me with the problem!! I am the one trying to be superwomen! i think i just answered my own question!

MY g/f has been really stressed lately with all her schoolwork. She's in really advanced classes, and I would never be able to do what she does. But anyway, she was really stressed out cuz she has a buttload of work to do by monday. I tried to calm her down and get her to just chill out cuz her stress was starting to effect the quality of her work, and i think i made her even more stressed. This relationship los long distance, so i can't just go fall on my knees on her doorstep and apologize. How do i make this right? How do let her know that all i was trying to do was let her know that I'll always support her? What do I do? Please, no short answers.

I have an obnoxious male coworker. He is about eighteen, and I am twenty-one. I don't know why I let him get to me. But whenever I'm talking to another coworker, he always feels the need to say something to me and usually whatever he says is obnoxious. A few days ago, he said, "I hate looking at you face." I had said I hated something to another coworker and unwarranted he just answered with the previous statement. How should I deal with this annoying guy? It seems as if he may be trying to get my attention, as he constantly glances in my direction whenever we are near one another, but I really can't stand him because of his personality. What should I do?

At first he said he didnt want to start anything because he wanted to make sure she and he were done 100%. Well recently hes said that hes decided that shes not for him, they fight too much, and Im by far better for him. The only thing that kept/keeps him is the fact that she was his first sex act and love. Hes said that hes made a concious decision to do things right and make it work with me. She and him havent spoken in wks she used to call 24/7. Well since that conversation I found a recent doc on his computer expressing feelings for her. What do I do? I use his comuter too, shouldnt he have made it discrete, changed the attention grabbing title? Could this be how he copes? How do I address this?

Im a bit turned off and I feel thats a bit obsessive whats hes done. Like gee get over it...

We have NOT had sex yet. Our dates have gone really well so far.

Just a forewarning, this is long.

My girlfriend and I have been dating for almost a year and a half and its pretty serious. At first i knew i was going to marry her. Now im not so sure. I'm having doubts. I think i still love her, but she's my first true girlfriend, so i don't have anything to base that off of. I know she's crazy about me and loves me and wants to marry me, which makes this so hard. I don't know if these doubts are normal. Also, as our relationship has progressed, im finding myself less attracted to her physically. I still love her personality though. I hate to think of myself as shallow, but is this just my male tendencies showing through? Is it normal too? A year ago I would have never considered ending this relationship but now Im not so sure. Please help!

My girlfriend and i have been together for almost 3 years. she's 19 and im 20. Our love life used to be great. Now she doesen't put out at all. why is it men claim that women are either controlling, trying to trap them, or sluts and women claim men are cheating dogs who can't seem to commit, or don't respect any woman that didn't give birth to them? will the general population ever grow out of this crisis of gender stereotyping and realize that breasts or a penis don't automatically say who you are inside?

I have NOT seen Casino Royale but i heard that there is a part in the movie where Eva Green who plays Vesper Lynn is crying in the washroom floor, and James Bond is comforting her. Why was she crying and why was he comforting her?
