My girlfriend was invited to a kids birthday party sunday at 5pm. Originally she told me it was on a Saturday and that I was expected to attend also. Now I find its on Sunday......There are 1000 other things I would rather do, need to do with my Sunday then this, granted I like spending time with her but this is a 1 yr old birthday party we are talking about...

Am I obligated or can I politely decline?

Im 19 and was sitting in class and the substitude kept looking at me and everytime I turned to look at her she would look away and when the bell rang and I got up to exit the room she woulnd take her eyes off me. I just smiled at her and left.

My girlfriend and I broke up about 3 months ago. I still care for her eventhough she left me for someone else. She called me up the other day and we got to talking and she said that she really missed me. I asked her if she would like to go get some coffee or at least see me and she said that her relationship with the other guy is really not firm and she feels that if she sees me then she would want to come back to me. She says that she is far from over me but I dought this because she wants to see me. She says that she needs more time with this other guy to make their relationship work befor she sees me. To me that says that her present relationship is not what she wants. What should I do?

I've been talking to a guy for 9 months now. By talking I mean, hanging out, being intimate, and all that relationship stuff. Problem is, after 9 months he still doesn't want to committ, as in, be my "boyfriend."

9 months is a long time. I don't want to keep waiting for him to want me as his girlfriend, because what if he never does, and all this time I've been turning down other guys for him. He hasn't been seeing other girls either though, and I know this for a fact. So I don't understand what the big deal is.

I'm just not sure what to do. Should I keep waiting it out with him, or make him committ, or move on?

Our landscaper came to our house to fix something and since i wasn't fully dressed i went upstairs. My parents weren't home so we told him to come back later. Now that my older sister has met him and seen what he looks like she kinda had a thing for him and wants to get to know him a little better. What she doesn't know is that me and the landscaper had a thing for each other and the landscaper doesn't know that she is my sister because I went upstairs and he didn't see me. I don't want my sister to have a relationship with the guy that had something special with me. What do I do? Long story short. I went out with a guy for a 1 1/2 years. I loved him. We broke up. I ended up dating his friend. After dating someone else for a year, I break up with him because I'm still in love with my first real and only love. This guy means everything to me and I'm incomplete without him. However, he doesn't want anything to do with me he says because of the fact that I dated his friend. I know it was wrong... but the reason we broke up is because he liked another girl. Anyways, my friends know him and talk to him about me sometimes and they say all they see is hurt. And that he could still have feelings for me. Please help! I am so in love with this ex boyfriend of mine. He has a girlfriend..but they've only been together about a month. I need him in my life. I've already thought about moving on...but I can't do it. A guy friend that I have worked with on and off for the past 5 years has started hanging out with me more. We never used to hang out except after work with a bunch of people. Now he's started calling me out of the blue and asked me to the movies, musicals etc. Since December we've been out 7 or 8 times. We went out on Friday and Saturday, and on Saturday our friends were teasing us saying "we're dating".... not much of a response from him. He hasn't made his intentions clear, hasn't made any moves. Each time we go out, he picks me up takes me out and drives me home. We did go dancing with friends on the weekend and we ended up spending the night dancing by ourselves. My friend think he's interested, and that I should ask about his intentions. But I'm nervous about asking. Any advice?

I am dating the guy for a year and a half. We live on the same property, but he rents his own apartment and I - my own. I live only 10 years in America with my daughter and I never dated an American before. It seems strange to me that he does not want to share space, move-in with me or marry me, or have any common goals or plans. It is hard to make him do things for us - he insists to stay independent, free and unpredictable. He never cooks, but he takes me out for dinners at times. I feel that I give him everything I could possibly give to a man, but he takes it all and gives almost nothing in return. If I complain - he "punishes" me by sleeping at his apartment and eating his own food. And he says that he never promised me to help me with my problems or my daughter. I was sincerely trying to make this relationship work, but now I am about to give up. Somehow all relationships I had so far - fell apart. I really don't know what am I doing wrong?
