In my experience, they tend to become defensive and angry. If you were the one who rejected him, he is likely to try and make you jealous with another woman and/or ignore you completely. So basically nonchalant on the outside - burning up with anger on the inside,... ;)

All men act differently!
For example:
If this guy likes to think he's big and hard, he will make out that he didn't want to be with the woman anyway.
Whereas If a guy is a really nice guy (not that you find them very often sorry guys) the rejection will make it harder for him to take,
If the guy is extremely dorky he will be used to rejection and so really does not care!
Or last but not least if the guy is a complete idiot he will be angry! or go with one of your mates instead!
Although i have met a few guy that have actually cried at the end of the relationship! Or near the end of the relationship! Told ya! They all act so differently!

Most men will not show his feelings, we are brought up that big boys don't cry. They would rather hold it in and that could cause problems later. Myself, I go off and cool down for a while. Rejection by a woman? I have been rejected a few times in the past but I figure that the one who didn't reject me made up for it. If a man does show his feelings he will be angry and will let you know about it.

well everyman is different. the man that gets rejected and acts rude after wards was just a man that was not interested in your special qualities. This man is the one that is more interested in just scoring." The one hit kill " then it doesn't even bother him. Until you would need a favor from him. This Is called the "GAME"

The man that is humble about it and acts like its all good is the one that was hoping to show you what he has to win your heart but turned down, but still feels alright cause he knows his intentions were good. But then might see over you or always keep an open V.I.P invitation.
This man is the kind that saw something in you that really caught him good.

Some guys get angry and defensive. Some guys get moody and withdraw by themselves. Some guys show no outward emotion, even though they might be quite upset. Some guys beg and bargain and make a big show of it. Some guys outwardly ignore the rejection and keep pursuing the woman. Everyone's different.
