I should be more spacific. She seems to act like she's keeping me around until something better comes along. I get introduced as her 'friend' rather than her boyfriend. When I write a comment on her website about how she's an awesome girlfriend she deletes it. I feel like she's embarrassed that she's is with me, or that she doesn't want any one else to know she's involved with someone. She hasn't even changed her relastionship status from single to taken on the singles profile site we met on. I know some of this seems petty, but it;s all kinds of little thing building up to this big thing. I just don't want to get hurt.

I'm big on nicknames because my real name is (surpisingly) NOT socks!

Playful nicknames are fun, but when does it go from 'fun' to 'flirty'?

For example, my (now infamous) neighbor calls me 'baby', and has for awhile now. The guy I was with for most of the summer called me 'meanie'.

My ex to be is in jail becouse of abusive behavior toward me.I want to meet new people.But how do i get over the fact that he put me down so much.Im starting to believe it.Ive been told im good looking and look younger than 50.I feel like im in my 30s.My ex to be and i have not been together for a long time.He was only here in body.I have two kids.17and a half and 13 and a half.I love them to death.But need some grown up company.Even just to chat with.

the reason why i loved him is because he loved me like heaven, he taught me to love him and now i love him so much cant think of leaving him. we have talked about the drinking and promised to stop BUT not at all, he tells me that will be taking atleast 2 bottles every weekend. this is very disturbing cause he might get worse when we get married hopefully 2008 . i hate drunkards and i wonder if i will stand it in marriage if it gets worse.should i move on with him or call it a quit? i dont want to divorce in future.

Lately, when I meet guys they always tell me they like that I'm smart and ambitious but when they find out that I make more money or know certain people they always get competitive and back away. Why are some guys not mature enough to handle being in a relationship with a female who happens to be doing her own thing and doing it well? I don't brag & I don't boast because the way I see it I have a long way to go but I refuse to stop or slow down to stroke someone's ego. I also do not discriminate, I date guys that still live at home and I date guys who have accomplished more than I have and they still get competitive. Actually I even dated an older guy to see if age was the problem and even he got antsy when he found out that my career goals would soon put me close if not above him as far as authority and we had been together 3 years. I even had a guy whine when he found out I had a license to carry and a BA, and he didn't. Do guys really want smart ambitious girls? If not, why lie

I broke up with my ex-bf 3yrs ago right after high school, I was young and just wanted to experience something new. I ran into him last year around Christmas time and fell right back in love. He had a g/f at the time but left her for me because he says he was waiting for me all those years and couldnt wait to be with me again. I didnt know he had a g/f until after we spent a few days together. Then he went back and forth (he says he couldnt just leave her that way) and finally said he just wants to be single but when he is ready to settle down I will be the one he wants to be with. He still tells me he loves me and doesnt want to lose me again but we can only be friends. He just txt me while I am typing this.

Everyone tells me he is probably afraid of getting hurt again or maybe he is just having problems in his life right now!

I need some answers from men please! I am a strong person and I can move on, but I'm afraid that I might miss my chance with him.

I had an issue with trust in the first six months of my relationship when we were first getting to know each other (3 yrs ago) He had been talking to a girl from his childhood catching up and ended up talking to her a lot and almost went on a date with her until I found out He swore he wanted to be with me, he was sorry, he never talked to the other girl again A year later yet another girl from his past called him up, they talked for about a month until I found out. This girl was even dating his cousin so I know it was nothing romantic but he just hid it from me He says he didnt tell me because he thinks I would over-react In June he had an accident and so he goes to the dr weekly. During this time he would tell me all the girls there thought he was cute, we laughed about it. One of the girls quit working there, gave him her number, I found out today that they have been talking on the phone a lot over the past month, with her believing he was single! Should I end it bc of this?
