True love shouldn't have anything to do
with the other persons age.
Age is only a number

Age is truly only a number, and has no bearing on true love or happiness. Maturity is a state of mind and has nothing to do with age...but the maturing process tends to happen more rapidly the younger you are, and level off gradually in adulthood. So it becomes a question of common interests and common goals... or of equal levels of maturity. Thus you have an odds game. I will make no attempt to manufacture statistics, but if you are, say, 15 years old, and he is 25, odds are definitely not in your favor... the differences are too great. He's already got a job, a car, an apartment, whatever, you're barely halfway through high school. If you're 20, and he's 30, odds are a little better, but still not great. He's already well established in a career path, owns a home, has an ex-wife or maybe a kid or two, and you're just moving out of Mom and Dad's basement, still in college, still trying to "find yourself". If you're 30 and he's 40, odds are pretty good... you've both been through some of life, maybe a marriage, you're both established in your careers, and now you can get together based on what you already know about yourselves. If you're much older than that... well if you were much older than that I'd be pretty surprised by the question, 'cause you'd just be a stubborn old fart that wasn't interested in anyone else's opinion.

Hey, all I can say to this is...age is not a barrier. I'm sure there will be differences just as there is in every relationship, but if you guys really love and accept each other, there shouldn't be a problem. Don't stop yourself just cos he's older! (=

I don't think age makes a difference. True love has no limits and there really is no words to explain it other than it almost consumes your soul. You will know in your heart if it is true love as true love has no doubts! All the best!

YES! it will make a big difference in the long run, even if you are happy now. just imagine all of the reasons why a lot will be different between you two.

My wife is ten years younger than me, it's working just fine.

Age is a number not an attitude.

i don't think it is a problem as long as you don't need sth from her and she from you.
if it is based on caring, love and honest well you can survive really.
