I am practicing an unwilling form of abstinence, and I am miserable. I remember the experience as though it was yesterday, her scent has stayed with me:

I was 16 and she 26, it was a fling. Afterwards I was filled with a confidence like never before. Sadly though I have not met anybody.

At first, I just wanted to get laid. But after awhile I just wanted some companionship. Its sad to think about it but I have never had a relationship in my life. The handfull of girls that I have "dated" (Literally 4) it has never gotten pass the courting phase.

I feel like that guy from the movie "the 40 yr old virgin". In fact I am that guy except that I am technically not a virgin; I sometimes refer to myself as a Born-Again virgin...lol.

I'm a nice guy, considerate, friendly, physically fit. I wouldn't say I'm shy, however I am reserved. I don't approach women.

God it has been so long that I stop thinking about it, but from time to time it hits me.

Should I just give up on love?

If your ex ask to come back did that take courage on his part?
My ex has asked me can we start over. He said that in the few months that we were not together he had to get some things together and now he has. He now talks to me everyday, he checks up on me, he asked could we go out to dinner and a movie, but made the date for two weeks out my thought was so I would not feel like we wanted to make a booty call. He is very attentive, and we talk for hours about nothing like we use to do. He has also answered any questions I had. I don’t know if it is the truth or not but I don’t have anything to say that’s it’s not, and he could have said lets not talk about it but he didn’t. So did him asking me out again take courage, and would a guy do all this just to get sex from someone who he knows is still in love with him that may play hard to get, but it would not take all that he is doing even though I am over joyed with that fact that he has made this turn around.

An ugly guy who gives you what your heart desires, or a good looking guy, who's a drug addict and alcoholic? I'm just asking his cuz I have a real good gay friend, who's not that attractive. He's totally in love with this other guy, but that guy decided to date a good looking looser.

Ok there is this guy i work with I like him but he has a girlfriend who is short, depressed, wears black alot and is an ugly person. Well i know he is interested in me because we flirt alot at work he has even asked me to some parties but his girlfriend hates me and is jelouse of me and said i couldn't go. She is always checking up on him when he is at work. He tells me he is afraid to leave her because they have a son together and he don't want to loose the child to her in court. Hi I am 16 years old and yesterday I went to a party and ended up sleeping with my head on this boy that I really like. The only problem is I am a very shy person and worry that he will think I am stupid. Like before we all went to sleep he came and sat next to me but I got go shy that I just didn't know what to say so I just kept quiet. k so theres this guy whos friends with my friend, and hes a jerk. he somehow found out that i had a boyfriend but he didnt know who it was. so he asked me who it was but i wouldnt tell him because its someone he really doesnt like so he would torture me and tease me. and now he keeps on asking me and asking me and calling me and asking my friends and stalking me about who it is. The man I love as you know moves 450 miles away, well I tried so hard to move with him but I couldn't leave my daughter and she was in school here and I didn't feel it would be good to move her at this time. Well after his lease runs out, he is behind on his bills and he ends up moving in with some woman and so I told him I would move on well he trys to get closer to me now than before he calls everyday and tells me he loves me and even came to my town at Christmas to see me. He said she told him he had better tell me goodbye and I said well is that what you are telling me and he said no I came to see you and even brought me gifts. Well I didn't want to see him go so I didn't see him the day he left it was just so so hard because I still love him so much and he said that he loved me too. So what in the world is he doing he says he doesn't want to marry this lady so what is he doing! I know I should walk away but tell me what you think.

My ex broke up with me a couple of weeks ago. I really like him so it's been rough trying to get past it. But it's become increasingly difficult now that he wants to be friends. We talked last night and he was mentioning that he wanted to hang out and go get coffee or go bowling next week like we used to. I told him that I was hesistant about the idea and he asked why. Then at the end of our convo he called me by the pet name that he used for me when we were going out. I called him by his name and he asked me why I didn't call him by the nickname I had for him. Huh?!? I don't want to be one of those girls he just "hangs out" with because he means so much more to me than that. I don't want to end what we have left but it's just awkward being friends with someone who knows so much about you and has seen everything...emotionally and physically...that you have to offer.

My boy and I were thinking about role playing in the bedroom. I need some good advice on what to do so he can get the most fun out of it. Also he wants me to dress up as other women and it makes me feel uncomfortable to know that he is imagining that he is having sex with other women. Does it sound wrong of me to feel this way?

Ok... we were good around each other, we had fun, but he hadn't hugged me nor kissed me. But then one day he started tickling me and magic happened, the same day we kissed for the first time.

I started dating a girl about four months ago.. everything is going great, she's beautiful, funny, great to be around. Well, I recently discovered that her mom is my uncle's girlfriend! Difficult to explain. BUT - No matter how you meet a guy, through a friend, internet, bar, grocery store, or whatever... Why is it that on the first real date, they expect sex? You can meet for a drink, talk, and may have some things in common, yadda yadda yadda. As a woman I'd like to see if we can extend the date to dinner or at least see if there is the possibility of a second date. My boyfriend is Italian and his family is from up north..He's very close to his mom, which Italian men are known to be. He does things that aggragvate me, though, like tap into my e-mails and look through everything in my cell phone etc..he has to know EVERYTHING. But when the tables turn, he'll get a phone call or see one of his friends, and say "can you go in the other room and wait for me, this is important.." or he'll walk away when he gets a certain phone call and get furious if I follow him. His excuse is that I can't handle certain things!! Once, I wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine and had my friend call me..I did the same; went up stairs and used his lines "this doesn't concern you..sorry, I have to take this..wait here"....he was LIVID..he kicked things , he stormed after me, turned red..went nuts about it..his mom tried to stop him and he pushed her out of his way and caused a big commotion in his house. Is this double standard typical of Italian-American men?

I have been dating this girl for 2months now. I started dating her not too long from when she broke up with her BF, whom she'd been dating for 1yr now. I like her, she likes me. She recently called me to tell me that she isn't sure if the relationship will prosper because she thinks we are very different in terms of views, beliefs etc. She also claims that she misjudged how long it will take for the emotional ties to her ex to be severed. She claims that she feels like she can fall in love with me. But, if she does not clear her head as to what she wants, she might hurt me or whatever. I said we can work things out.
