All you can do is be sincere. Other than that, people are always going to make impressions of you. Maybe some people are more particular about looks and others are more particular about personality. But people are always looking for others that they like, have things in common with, etc. You can't escape it.

You need to work on your self esteem and self confidence and not care what others around you think. God is the only person who you need to worrying about being judged for.

Date people older than you. Younger people have unrealistic expectations about life and their significant others. Expectations are simply pre-conceived resentments waiting to rear their ugly head.
