Hi, I'm 18 years old. My boyfriend of one and a half months never calls me, hardly talks to me when I'm online and only comes to see me on weekends, sometimes even every other weekend. It's not like it's hard to get here. We both attend colleges in Boston and he's about a 15 minute walk away. But when he does come to see me, he's all over me and tells me that he loves me and that he's never felt so strongly for someone before. Sometimes I really feel like he's just using me. I almost feel like the only way we can connect now is physically. In January, I'm transferring back to a college in my home state and I'll be living 4 and a half hours away from him, so I have no idea what to do. I'm thinking about breaking up with him, but before we started dating, we were really good friends, so I'm going to feel super bad. Opinons?

I have been broken up for nearly 5 years from my ex and haven't met anyone worth my time and I see my BF's ex's moving on and already dating and getting married to other men and I can't get even get a guy to take me out to dinner...I consider myself to be very pretty holding it down alone, and plus I'm not even over my ex yet cause I didn't leave him cause I didn't love him but that he has a substance abuse problem..(crying) I feel so bad and especially around this time of the year..everyone is married and happy and I'm still alone. And so is my ex BF alone dealing with his problem but he can find someone asap and be happy meanwhile I'm still alone and unhappy.

I have been dating this man for the past few years and all of a sudden for the past month or so he seems really distant, uninterested and I also found out he had been at his ex girlfriends house. He told me he was only there to help her son with something. I have a young child who loves him also. I need to find out what is going on I can't keep going on like this it is killing me. I am sick of my daughter watching me cry over this every night. PLEASE HELP ME....so I can finally prove to myself I need to move on.

I think soulmates/truelove is a true lie because everybody perception on what is love is different. You always hear women talking about finding true love but at the end of the day there this stereotypical type of guy that every woman loves. And when they find a guy that fit these stereotypes that’s there “True Love” Do you believe this is true?

I'm a Western woman dating an Asian man. It seems I'm much more likely to bring up a conflict with him, than he is with me.

Of course, I'm aware of different styles of communication in different cultures, as well as individuals. But I just can't help but wonder, since woman are "relational," if we're not more likely to be aware that a conflict exists, and sooner than men.

It feels like sometimes I'm SO underappreciate by people! I am a very humerous person (not nasty or anything though) but some people are SO SERIOUS they think everything you say should be taken in a bad way! I feel so misunderstood and underappreciate sometimes! Meanwhile these same people play favorites with each other and ignore me! Whatever!

Ok this guy and I have been friends for about 5 years now and he is starting to develop feelings for me and hes been flirting with me and droping hints for about a month now at 1st it wasn't bad but I am involved with someone else but were not dating hopfully we will be soon and I don't want to ruin what I have with this other guy I have worked hard to get it to where its at now. And a few days ago he told me he was intrested in another girl and I was happy about that but then he told me that he had no shot with her and that he still wanted to take me out and he knows I am with this other guy and I am just not sure on how to tell him no because we have been friends for so long I don't want to ruin our friendship over something like this. I've been seeing this guy for about 2 and a 1/2 months. I like and him and enjoy his company and he feels the same. Recently however, he said that he isn't ready for anything serious and that he has several "friends". my boyfriend always lies but ive always been honest to him.
OK let me get to my point , silly things he done says his getting his car exaust fixed but heard in a convisation that he wants a bigger exaust, he said sorry like always and wasnt sure if i mind but the sad thing is he took the big exaust of in the first place coz it gave him headaches.
Another thing his phone rings and cancels quick, i say ur phones ring and he say no im playing a game then later he conffessed saying he didnt want to lend his car our, what does he think im worried for, yes i thought he was cheating coz thats what a girls going to thing.

My girlfriend is telling me that when you are dating someone even if it is going to become serious that you should not give him your all until you have been in the relationship for a while meaning at least a year. She said that while you are dating and at least up to the first 6 months of the relationship you should still keep your side pieces (friends with benefits). She said the reason why women get hurt is because they find a man who treats them well in the beginning and then end up hurting them in the end, and since you got rid of all your side pieces now you have no one and you are all alone, but if you keep your side pieces in the beginning then you can easily bounce back when the relationship doesn’t work. Do you guys think that’s how it should be in order to protect yourself? She said you are not suppose to give a man your all because that tends to cloud your judgement and you start not doing certain things like the guy is your husband, and then you are stuck once he dumps you.

My bf abused me in june coz he saw me dancing with another guy. He broke up n told me im a cheap gurl along with abuses . then he stopped contacting me. But after a month he started contacting through text mesgs.
