I'm telling myself "I'm not gonna buy it next time, I have to stop seeing him". But he calls and here we go again. How can I stop it?

I don't know about can't but defiantly there were ones that I didn't want to say no to. To stop it do what I did which is move on with your life. Don't see or talk to the guy. Time will help but the little bugger may still lurk in the back of your mind on occasion.

im going to put it as nicely as possible---DONT ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE STUPID!!!!! he is only doing that because he knows you will fall for it, he's got you falling back into his trap everytime you pick up. he isnt doing anything that other dogs dont- playing the game. if you want it to stop, you have the power to change the situation. thats why they have caller id, voicemail, call blocking, etc. you dont have to be his dummy anymore, dont let him pull the strings .take back control of the situation. im pretty sure you are not the only one he is doing this to. you are just another notch in his belt. and it will only be your fault if you continue to let him use you the way he is using you. there is no man on this planet earth that you cant say n0 to. and once he is done with you, he will leave you hanging, no matter how much you may want him. he will drop you like a bad habit, leave you dry like the sahara, and used like a piece of toilet paper. he is a dog. if he really wanted you, he wouldnt play these yo-yo games and he would commit, but obviously you are not that important to him, obviously you dont matter. so dont waste your time on someone who doesnt see you for who you really are- a precious jewl that should be loved and adored, find someone who will be that special someone. and by the looks of things, you regret seeing him. because if you didnt, you wouldnt be asking this question and you wouldnt be telling yourself that youre not going to do it again. so if you wanna stop regretting so much, start changing the situation. LET HIM GO!!!!

If you have difficulties saying NO to him, try to not to answer the phone when he calls. IF you don't have an IDCaller or can't get one, get someone else in the house to get the phone and say NO for you. If you don't have someone else, then just get the answer machine on, and erase his messages as soon as you get them.
No answer machine neither? Then just don't get the phone or hang up when you hear his voice!
Try to be strong, when he calls, just think about yourself, in HOW MUCH YOU WORTH AND DESERVE, and for making easier, print it out and hang it close to the phone where you can see it!
If you want to get better, just have to do better, even if it is hard.

Yes I totally agree. I have one myself. I see the caller ID, tell myself JUST SAY NO...JUST SAY NO and then I answer the phone he asks if I want to go to dinner and YES comes out every damn time. Maybe someday I'll get the courage to say NO. :)

Yah, I agree, but we just have to be strong minded and say NO. I know what you mean though, some guys are just OH SO charming and with their eye contact and smooth and suave ways........it's incredibly hard. They are irresisitble. You just have to think of what makes you want to say no, and then do it, be committed to saying NO and remember that you deserve better. :)

Force yourself to ignore that phone call, girl. If there's a good enough reason for you not to want to see him anymore, than squash that ****. I speak from personal experience.

been there done that; but heres the difference; i was able to say no... took everything i had but i did it!! i just got it in my head that i refused to be made a fool of again. he did it once and i wasn't going to fall for it again. i must say it was pretty fun watching his face drop when i told him nopers i'm dating someone and you're done.
