Guys always seem, for me, to take my cell phone and put their number in it.

Yeah those guys are putting the burden of the first phone call on you. That's the difference.

If the digits he gives you are really his phone number, then it's his way of letting you know that he would actually like to talk to you (maybe even see you) again. If he gives you a fake #, then he doesn't like you, but didn't want to hurt your feelings. If he asks for your number, then he's either interested in you, or enjoys leading you on! Hope that helps!

of course there is, when guys ask for the no., it sort of means he's into you... and he finds you... interesting or something like that... and when a guy gives his no., it sort of means that he wants you to be the one to text him first.... come to think of it... they are almost the same!!

by them doing that, you know that they want you to call them. By them asking for you to give them yours, how do they really know that you are interested and REALLY want them to call you. I personally dont think it matters, but then again ive never given my # to a girl before.
