Does anyone know good places to go to meet smart men who know how to treat a woman properly? I am training to be a nurse so I will be spending a lot of time at the hosptial and uni. Should I look for someone in Healthcare like a Doctor or Surgeon?

I mean, would a manly man want to be bothered with all these girly questions, giving advice etc, especially the dating stuff. Is it making you girly?

I am now back in contact through email with the german girl I loved but broke my heart (see previous questions). She said she stopped contact with me for 2 months to give me a chance to think about things- this only made me more angry and upset. Although I REALLY want to trust her..I don't know if I can after all she has done to me.
I am also curious as to what this all means. She knows I cant be 'just friends' to her so why would she still want to talk to me?

Can someone explain why they don't want a normal relationship and am I old fashioned because I don't want to do it? Or am I just a lady as my Dad says?

My gf of a month heard some bad news (which she won't talk to me about)regarding her sis before our date on friday, which resulted in her being incredibly rude, mean, and distant. Before this happened our relationship was full of love and affection, but now there is none. Since then she has been unaffectionate and disinterested. I met with her last night and she was still distant and when I tried to talk to her about her sister she told me to never bring it up again. She won't kiss me with more then a peck and won't cuddle with me anymore. What should I do? I have given her a lot of space and am not forcing things, but I really miss the intimacy we shared before all of this happened. I told her that if she ever needs anything, to vent, shoulder to cry on, etc. I am here for her. But I don't want to just sit here like a friend forever, the intimacy is a must for me. Any suggestions on what I can do to help her let her heart go and open herself up to me again?

My personal experience was a complete turn off it's like trying to dance when both of you don't know the steps and there is no music. Did anyone go through this. Ughhh...
I was turned off fo about 5 months.

I remember this big anticipation and then ... what the hell was that? I am surprised how much people talk about sex and how boring it really is.
I quess people just settle for less. It's kind off like going to a danceclub and it's painfull to watch everybody twitch to the music, but the thought going through their minds is: hey, nobody else here knows how to dance so I look ok.
sad

Guys i like a girl and she also likes me. But the problem is that she belongs to other religion. Onely because of that we come to the edge to loose our relationship. Is it right that we stop talking to someone just because he/she belongs to other religion? Is it right that religion is far more important than human relationship and feelings? Is it right that we need to look at religion first before engaged to someone else? Is religion is important more than the true feelings?

Pls. reply i want to know what u r thinking.

Waiting for your replies.

I'm 58, single, disabled, on Social Security. Can I Still Find Love? I have tried the on-line dating a few times. I go to the Christian groups, because I'm from a Christian background; I don't have any success, because they all want someone who #1 isn't looking for sex (I am), or they want someone who is "financially $ecure." (rich) I don't even have the $$ for a car these days, so I have to take the bus half-way somewhere, just to get picked up for a date. Most women don't want to drive the guy. And I am so broke, I can't afford more than one "cheap date" a month. Hopefully, in tne next 6 months, that will change. Are there any real quality women out there who just want quality companionship? Or am I dreaming? I'm really a nice guy. Where did all the nice women go?

I've been working with this girl since August, and we've hit it off pretty well, we like each other, abnd recently we've started to go out to town, the bars and clubs, together.

On wednesday I texted her, asking her if there could ever be more to us than 'just friends'.

Yet she still, hasn't replied, what do I do? Do I text her again or wait for it to unfold by itself?

I have been with my girlfriend for 6 months, (known her for a year and a half). She told me that I am the most important thing in her life and that she loves me. The sad thing is that she has been supported by her grandparents all of her life because her parents left her when she was a baby. She is the last person anyone would want to hurt. She is sweet and caring and I know she would never cheat on me..
Yet, when I first met her I didnt think she would be someone I would date because she was a little bit too heavy for me. We became friends however and she gradually lost most of the weight.. I then started to find her somewhat attractive and to make a long story short.. asked her out. I might have done it because I was lonely and unable to find another girl. Her weight is still a factor however.
When I am with her/ around her, I have this feeling of "Do I really want to be with her?"
She tells me that I love her too because she "sees it in my eyes".
What do I do?

I have just moved into a new place which is owned by a bloke. We get on really well to say that we have only know each other a couple of months. The thing is everytime we have a drink or get drunk we end up kissing and fooling around although haven't had full sex. I really want to and so does he but I keep on stopping it from happening because at the end of the day he is my landlord. He is single and so am i. Is it wrong?????
