He no doubt does like you, but whether he's in the least interested in you as a lifetime partner is another question completely. Basically, if you're seriously interested in him and he's made no move to develop your relationship after a year, then probably best to forget about him. Saving sex till after marriage is something which he may well hold very important, but not developing the relationship in other ways after a whole year suggests he may never do so.

Depends . You need to tell us more. Have you seen him often during the year? Has he had a girlfriend during that time? Has he wanted to date you at all? Has he pressurised you for sex at all? Some guys will wait a very long time to get what they want from a girl - it can become a challenge. You need to think about whether he treats you well - the time-span is less important. A guy could wait for years for just one thing, but still once he has got it he could lose interest if that was his main objective. Only you can know....but it does look hopeful...

All guys are after sex at some point or another, but it is possible for them to like you at the same time....
I would say he likes you... If he just wanted sex he could get it anywhere else...

it is possible for him to like you without sex if he didnt he would of stopped talking to you. if you 2 end up having sex and he leaves you then you know

for a guy to kept in contact for a year means he's serious with or interested in you. i dont know if its about sex but one things for sure if its sex "damn he's been saving"

my guess is that if he was just after sex then he would have given up by know and tried with someone else, if he is still paying you attention he is probably interested in you I expect.
