Guys i like a girl and she also likes me. But the problem is that she belongs to other religion. Onely because of that we come to the edge to loose our relationship. Is it right that we stop talking to someone just because he/she belongs to other religion? Is it right that religion is far more important than human relationship and feelings? Is it right that we need to look at religion first before engaged to someone else? Is religion is important more than the true feelings?

Pls. reply i want to know what u r thinking.

Waiting for your replies.

Rohit,
to be completely honest, I don't think you should let religious beliefs stand in your way if you love each other & are ready to be together & create a family. Never mind if your families are not supportive in the very beginning, they will accept when they see you are happy together.
Religion is an instrument meant to faciliate social life. It gives you emotional relief & allows to particate in social rites, occupying a certain place, being a part of a well-funcioning existential machine. If you analyse, it is a means of organising your life, like job & ideology. It should make your life easier, not bring you sufferings.
My family was composed through inter-religious marriages, and although these were different branches of Christianity, so the difference was not an ocean wide, point of fact, I can say you that a person him/herself is what matters. It doesn't matter in what form we choose to worship God, we all love each other - we are one family! Kabhi khushi kabhi gham;-)
Religion is just part of the context. If you are both willing, you can definitely agree upon all crucial matters.
So if you really need that girl & you are sure she wants you as much as you want her, just go for it. Get married & get a life of your own.
I wish you all the best.

I don't believe it's right to stop talking to someone for religious reasons. That's why we fight because we don't talk about our differences and learn about different ideas. Looking at religion should not be the first thing we look at. We should look at if we love them. I sincerely do not believe that religion is more important than true feelings. If you believe in a superior being controlling what occurs in the world, then you would probably believe that these feelings occurred for a reason. There are a lot of mixed religion couples that have been successful. The two of you just need to talk about how you will raise your children. As they say 'Love conquers all'. The two of you can and probably will overcome this especially if you love each other. Good luck.

Love is universal. It has no lines of religion, ethnicity, health, sex, distance. I could go on. While some might argue that having the same religion consummates part of the commitment, I have known people who are married and are of different religions.
Love should surpass any obstacle, if it is true from the heart. Finding true love could be a once in a lifetime event. I wouldn't pass it up because of religion.

I dated a jewish girl 3 years ago. That relationship lasted 10 months. We loved each other, our differences couldn't be resolved. We couldn't find any common ground plus her parents didn't accept me at all.

To answer your question, its difficult because I have asked that myself. If you truly like this girl, don't let religion stop the both of you. As long as you are comfortable with one another, then go for it and deal with the issues because her religion is different from you.

Relegion does not matter in love and personal feelings but it makes a big influence in the future if the understanding lacks and a few logical problems in Indian law.If u are sure that u can face that later then nevr mind the relegion.
Think and then Act!
All the Best!

To some people their religion is a main part of their life. If this is how she feels about her religion than it's a lagitamate reason but I don't think it should stop you two from at least talking.

it sounds good to be in love with a other religion gal.but practically it doesn't lead u to marriage.because love is blind.now u can do anything for ur love.but it generally happens that after marriage the real problem arises.then ego comes.so u should think 100 times before going to take any steps.but that doesn't mean u shouldn't talk to that gal or can't make frndship.

I understand the position you found your self into. so i could tell you that its possible to face difficulties to find a common ground between the two of you, but once you find it - nothing will matter. Make sure you would be able to pay the sacrifice to be patient and accept your differences to what ever shall come. love is all -every thing we look for, we fight for, we fall for and every bit of relationship. Juts be sure.
