why do some women, let their husband hit them?

i dont know but it gets annoying because someone tries to help them and then they say that thats the way they show their love, someone please explain that to me

Ok, to make it as short as possible and give you all the details. Me and this girl have been talking for a while now, and we both feel like society uses the phrase "I love you" to freely when you really dont. So when we were going to say it to each other we would mean it. Well I told her the other night, and then the next night she said it to me. Well tonight I go over to her house and she tells me that she pretty much didnt mean to say it. She does love me but "not that type of love." But she loves me more than a friend. She said that when she said it to me, that it literally made her sick to her stomach. I know she's scared of commitment, and I even tried to ask her tonight where she see's our relationship going and she was like, "I dont want to talk about it." So please help me understand this!!! I love her to death so please dont just say dump her and leave her, please just help me understand her!. Thanks for the help

so heres the deal... me n this girl have been talking to for about a month now... cant seem to figure each other out.. we know eachother way better than we did before becuase of hanging out alot and talking for the past month now.. but she just got out of a long relationship and i dont know if i should ask her anything too soon about how she feels about me...becuase i would hate risking our friendship and making things awkward.... i know we've got to know eachother really well and even when we hangout its usally just the 2 of us. and we usally end up having a pretty fun time 2gether.. but shes always more flirty on the phone than when we hang out ... what does that mean? is it the wrong time to do anything i will regret?

I have found out some things about her past that I do not agree with. If I would have known prior to me asking her out I would have never done it. They are things I am totally against and would never want in a wife/gf. Its kind of late now though, she loves me, I love her back, and we get along very well. But these things she has done in the past, I detest, and everytime I think about them I wanna puke, punch a hole in the wall, and i LITERALLY get chills.

Please help, I am very down.

It's 5 mos. ago when i had no personal communication wl my ex b.f and this only mo. of December we've reconciled again then I made a first way to have make reconcilliation with him....is he showing for me a real love or is he pretending?...pls friends to me out there help me....advise me too..

Will you still be her friend if you are in love with her but she has a BF already or would you avoid her? This guy knows I love a guy already but I told before I fell for him too...but now I am clear. He told me he could never be angry at me and if I someday get married he wanted to come. Now he is avoiding me if I tell him I a m sorry for the mess it was my fault and I want to make it up to him and send him a present but he won't answer me anymore..I don't know why if he only wants me for a friend..I REALLY DON'T THINK HE WANTED ME FOR A GF and I wonder if it because he doesn't want me to get confused again or what? Ok... so here is the background.

I have this friend that I really like. Her and I hang out probably once every two weeks. Normally when we hang it will be with another friend of ours and his girlfriend. So, me and her have never talked about a relationship between us other than that she had issues with a guy that tried jumping from her to one of her friends (bad idea) and how she hates when guy friends started asking her out after she had broken up with her ex in a long relationship (I didn't know her than). And her & I "flirt joke" all the time.

The problem I have though is 1: she has no idea that I actually like her and 2: she thinks I like one of her other friends because the other friend we hang out with said something to her in front of me that I did... I didn't deny or affirm it.

My plan is to say something in January, after the holidays and stress of family (& had a near death experience... makes u react), but I currently have a Christmas Card and gift... what should I write?

I meant this 21 year old guy online I am 25 and he makes me smile with just the little things he says and does. We have not had any physical contact yet but 2morrow he is meeting me at the laundromat to help me with my laundry. That will b the 1st time we have contact and I already got butterflies. Well! I wanted some input from girls as I am entering into American dating world? This is how I describe myself.

and they were spending to much time alone toghter. but when we were alone she would promise me i had nothing to worry about that she loved only me and we would have great sex so i though it was all in my head.i finally put my foot down and said him or me so she left i really love and miss her so 1, 2maybe 3 times a month we get to gether and its all good for a day we get along have sex then shes gone again my question is it wromg i would rather be doing his girlfriend than him doing mine.
