It's only possible if it's hurtful. If u love him to the point where it's hurting u, then u need to slow down. I wouldn't say leave but step back and see it from an outsiders point of view. Obsession can be very bad if it's in the way. However if it is working to the advantage of the relationship as whole, roll with it. Let it enrich the both of u and evolve into something more productive. But if it's the advantage is leaning to either end, u need to even that out. Love is give and take. If he isn't equally obsessed with you, is this a situation u want to be in?

Well the good thing is you know your own conditoin.

The bad thing, well not entirely bad, is that you need to do something about it...

Do some of your own things, like a hobby or a getaway vacation with a friend...try to find your thing that you need to do alone, ask him for advice. voulenteer for a community help, something to work on with different friends.

You'll still keep thinking about him, but its a good sign that you miss him. When you do meet make sure you pore all you can there and then.

Sometimes, being too obsessed could drive him away, shouldnt you be afraid of it? Playing a bit hard would keep him interested. Keep in mind that he needs room and so so you...it doesnt mean you love him less, it just means your saving the love for a longer lasting relationship...

Yes it is possible most men like to have space, not a girl on top of them 24/7. Back off a little bit or you are going to seem needy and then he is going to dump you.

I'm not gay so I have never had a b/f. but if you love anyone too much that you will accept second class treatment, then it's too much, it's infatuation. and you will only end up with less self esteem. dignity comes from respecting yourself. if you lose self respect, you lose dignity. balance is the key . too many people fall into that same trap. it never works. good luck.

If you are smothering him yes, if your with him 24/7, and hanging on him the whole time , yes.. he needs room, and time for himself too.. give him some space, and maybe even a night out with the guys.. but not to often.. they can get in trouble if they go out to often.. but try not to smother them, or finish their sentences for them, or wipe their mouths for them, and things like that.. good luck...

There is no such thing as "too much love." However, it may be that you love him more than he loves you. If so, step back and ask yourself, "when was the last time he persued me?":

well, obsession and love are different. unless its fatal attraction or something of that nature, there is nothing wrong with loving someone with all your heart. it happens.

but make sure its not that you're obessed with him , instead of in love because they are different

It is possible.

If you are obsessed with him you could end up making him feel as though he is being suffocated.

Need i say more?

Break up with him. He will treat you like crap and take advantage of you until you have nothing to give. You may even die.
