What is happening to girls today?????

Some girls I know just go around sha gging blokes when they are pissed and they don't want a relationship. What are they doing that for? (Apart form the sex!) Can someone explain why they don't want a normal relationship and am I old fashioned because I don't want to do it? Or am I just a lady as my Dad says?

its to do with a lot of reasons, but also depends from person to person, and different circumstances:

1) it is more accepted now, or more likely we are used to it. even though it is still frowned upon, it is definetly not as much as before.

2) when u have grown up socialising with particular friends or environment, it doesn't seem dirty, it is the norm, having fun

3) it can be due to insecurity, girls want to feel attractive and winning blokes can accomplish this. this insecurity could be from a number of reasons: i think mainly from parents not telling their kids how much they are worth and how wonderful they are and that u will get more respected from not sleeping around (although i do realise this does not always happen that way).

4) sex is everywhere: in society and media and tv. and its grown more and more.

5) lots of people go to clubs and bars at night and meet a lot of people. the guys that normally come up to girls are usually confident cocky and only after 1 thing. so all girls are seeing are these guys, not realising that there are decent men out there. and trying to find a decent guy on a night out is difficult. it is better to try and find a guy somewhere else.

6) if girls started out in relationships where men are obsessed with sex then this may seem the norm, because u have no clue about relationships. girls are also becoming more sexually active much early on and boys too, they are more immature and boys maybe only after one thing and the culture of lots of sex and no meaningful relationship starts off in girls right from the start

although every1 has a choice, free will and there own mind. a lot of girls i think are not guided in the right direction, which is very important nowadays with so much sex surronding us in society. although no matter how much u try sometimes girls can still head down this road. i do honestly believe though the main cause is too much sex in the media, tv and society. and the importance of sexual morals need to be set into girls from an early age. make them confident in themselves, how special they are, how they deserve someone really special. friends u hang round with is very important too.

Your dad is a very smart man. You are a lady. My older sister was like that for many years. I honestly think that she was insecure and didn't want to be rejected but she craved affection from the opposite sex. So... she would go out and find anyone to fill that need and remain alone so she wouldn't have to feel the pain of them not wanting her. Most people refer to these women as whores or sluts (I'm sure there are many more words that I'm not aware of.) And although they may appear that way, they are very sad individuals who are insecure and afraid of not being wanted. Also, many women/girls that are this way were raped or molested when they were young. It happens so much more than people can comprehend. I hope I helped you understand.

Some girls do, some girls don't and then again some might if you ask nicely enough.

It's all down to personal preference and you shouldn't think otherwise..........also, some girls just crave the attention that goes with it but do not want the complications of a relationship. Some of the benefits without any of the constraints.

Because guys have successfully convienced girls that they can mess around like guys do and that its cool. We have them believing that being easy is cool, which makes it easyier for us to get some. What they don't know is that guys still don't want a girl for a serious relationship if they have messed around with a lot of men. If a guy had to choose between a virgin or a girl that had sex with one guy, he will choose the virgin every time and thats a fact.

may be you're just looking in the wrong places? a girl who's ready for relationship may just have gone unnoticed.

no you are not old fashoined you are who you are if some people cant exspect
who you are then ....why worry about what they are.
you are importand as anyone, everyone believes in many things different then others so what.....just worry about you and what you want out of life,your goals,your dreams and so on. there's nothing wrong with being old fashioned that just lets some people know that you know what you want and thats a good thing. dont let others change you to benfit them.

Most young girls think they need to sleep around to get attention which they lacked growing up,to them they think they are loved by many but in truth they are used by many.It is not wrong or old fashion of you to not want that,obviously you were raised with morals and values...be picky and wait...it feels much better in the end.

Its not that they don't want a normal relationship. What they lack is an understanding of what self esteem means. Many of us have made mistakes in order to learn about life. So, don't be so critical with people who make decisions that you may not make.
