father changing?? We used to be really close, I am now in my early 20s and I find it easier to sympathise much more with my mother than my dad- I know that my feelings towards him have changed for the worse. I'm not sure why or if it is a normal/temporary thing at all.

hi i'm an 18 yr old girl. when i was 16, i had a brief affair with a guy of 23. he was the first man to touch me...the only guy i've made love with. but it was a very volatile relationship...nothing came out of it...moreover it was clandestine. i don't know why but whenever i think back about that time the strongest emotions take me over. last week my elder sister announced that she intents to get married and her fiance is none other than my ex. i really can't take it. i don't love him anymore...but the whole thing gets to me and i feel i'll make a very stupid mistake soon. our families have been close since a long time but no one ever knew about our affair. my ex seems very cool about the way things are shaping up but i'm dying every day. what do i do? i don't wanna wreck my sister's happiness. but my own self gets destroyed each time i see them together. what do i do? why do i feel like this when my affair is a thing of the past. please advise...i feel like killing myself.

About a year ago, I dated a girl for a while. It didn't really work out, but we finished and became good friends. Me, her, and a male friend started hanging out together. Lately, I've noticed that her body language suggests she fancies the male friend, and I made a joke out of it in private to her the other night, and she said she did. They do kind of flirt with each other, but whether the male friend would do something with it, I don't know. She wants to all meet up at the weekend, but I feel like a bit stuck in the middle, and like 3's a bit of a crowd now because they kind of ignore me! I find it all a bit strange, and I don't know why! What would be the best thing to do?

been with this guy for six years, really rocky for the last year. he was very violent when he got angry. I cheated on him once, he forgave me. now, twp weeks ago, we finallt split because he says he is interested in my friends'- friend. but, this past week, he has been trying to call me 5 days in a row, 3 to 2 times a day? what is that? i didnt pick up the call and never will!!!!! ,because i dont want to revisit that past.. why is he calling me if he has someone else?

About 4-5 months ago my bf left me bcuz he wasn't pleased with the way the house was running . Well now on Thursday he went to work and didnt' come home ! He called me the next day and let me know that he was not going to be returning home. Then today he shows up and says he wants to work it out . I'm confused bcuz we have 2 children together ... 1 and 2 and i have 2 children from b4 but they have been with him for the past 4 years. I feel guilty bcuz i dont' want to deprive them of a family but i dont' wanna look like a fool taking him back either. The first time he left he promised he never do it again and i let him come back , now he's done it again and i know in my heart if he was ever to leave again .... I am 21 years old and will be 22 very soon.I am in college right now and also working full time.I have the money to move out and have had it for over a year.
My fiance and I have been trying to move into an aparment of our own for about a year now.So far it has not happened because I am afraid of what my mother will say.She does not like him very much,but still has respect for him.I dont get it either so dont ask.Anyways,She is very overprotective of me.She has always been this way and I never see it changing.I have a curfew of 11pm.I cant go out with friends because I have to be home so early.And I only get to see my fiance but once a week because of this as well.My mom pitches a fit everytime I want to do something with my friends and its not with her.

I have to move out next month,but I want to tell her instead of just leaving without so much more than just "i moved out.see ya bye."I don’t want to hurt her feelings,but I have to get out.

We are pregnant with #2, only 5 weeks left until the baby is here. We have a house that is being renovated and could be done a little faster than I believe...My husband keeps saying he goes to work on the house but he steers toward his buddies house all day. In the evening, I usually find myself over there to help him, but he's not at the house. Lately, all he's been thinking about is fulfilling his musical dream before the baby is here. He's coming home with new musical equipment while we have absolutely nothing for the baby. He spends his time home from work in his music studio until 2am. And gets angry when our daughter wants him to play with her. He never answer's my phone calls cuz "he left it in the car" And he complains that we wont have money to survive with a new baby. I've talked to him, but he gets angry and tells me to get a job then..I dont want to live in my dad's house forever...what do i do?

He is perfect in my eyes but to the world he is far from it. I love him so much. My best friend use to be really close with him then he moved away. Julie[my best friend] introduced me to him. I always talk to him everyday for HOURS AND HOURS. But I have never met him. I tell him EVERYTHING. Things no one else knows. and he tells me things back. He says he loves me back and I can tell he does.VERY much. He would die for me but that brings up more problems. Hes very suicidal and depressed and Im truely the best thing in his life. I have stopped him from killing himself many times. A lot of this is because of all the stress he has. His dad is really abusive and that makes me sad. He is HIGHLY addictive to drugs and he is really tied up in them. He is also a HUGE dealer which I hate. He has tried to stop many times for me but each time he fails. Idk what I would do if I lost him. He means so much to me. He makes me feel a way no one else has even gotten close to. I love him.idk what to do!

I'm only in my early twenties but i feel so different compared to my friends. I'm not like your typical college student who just wants to party, go clubbing, and get drunk all the time. I'm sooo focused on just getting my degree really bad. I want to make something out of myself. My friends tell me to cute loose b/c i'm "young" but if i keep on tract and graduate, by then, i'll STILL be "young". I just feel that the party scene is just "stupid" and I don't want anything to do with it until later...when i'm settled as far as my job and as a person. They'll say "school is important" but it's pretty "even" for them...the thing is, you're in college now...i don't want to end up those people that are in college forever and just switches majors just to get "done" with school. I see myself (hopefully) graduated out of my major in 2 years and that's when i'll "celebrate"...i feel like that's when it's really worth partying. My older cousins have such an influence on me. They've told me that the "21" phase is expensive and gets old quickly. I'm in the phase where all my friends are turning 21 and it's the "coolest thing" in the world. I know i'm not 21 yet but i look at them as such morons...it reminds me of when we were all in high school and it was a big deal turning 16 b/c that was when you got your license.

What's wrong with me? Why am i like this?

Respect or disrepect when it comes to a relationship?

a man has done or said a few things to me. i am curious -- am i soft hearted or is he really rude and disrespectful?

1- jokes 4 or 5 times about my appearance- skinny, bony, look like a stick person, anorexia- says he is just joking-

2- stares at almost every female up and down twice and doesn't even hear what i have just said- but knows what they have said

3- tells me to get to the point faster then he would listen to my conversations- but then says he enjoys hearing me talk

4- tells me i am attractive and is affectionate, but plays games when it come to showing he cares

5- says he likes to be in control during sex and that shouldn't offend me. he says he doesn't mind me being on top, feels ok

6- he hates when i just don't say goodbye and hangup. he tells me asking when willl i hear from him again or if i tell him when i will call him it drives him up the wall and drags the conversation on.

is it him being rude or is it me

We broke up about four years ago, when I was pregnant with our son. Since then, we have both dated other people, but we still end up having sex with each other. He keeps telling me that he doesn't want to get back together, but he won't just move on and leave me alone. I still love him, and it's very hard to get over him with him coming around(and when I say come around, I mean to see me). Every time that I talk to another guy and he finds out, he gets jealous, and every time I try to cut him out of my life(I only want him out of my life as far as my personal life; as far as our son is conerned, that is a different matter), I turn around and he's still there, like he's not taking me seriously. Is it that he still wants me but is afraid to admit to it, or is he playing games with me?

Well i dont even know where to start. I've been with my boyfriend for a year and two months but we have been friends for over 5 years. I love him with all my heart but i'm begining to feel like he doesnt care anymore. I kno he loves me but he doesnt act like it anymore. Whenever he talks to me he says oh he has to call me back but then never calls back for over 10 hours.(yes i have counted) He always leaves me waiting. Okay so basically my life sucks right now. i just found out im transferring schools, my dad hates me ( i dont live with him), my moms going through menopaus and she actscrazy, all my friends from my elementary school are acting like bitches to me, my supposed "best friend" talks **** about me, im fat, and im afraid im never going to get a boyfriend. i dont know what to do anymore. everytime i try to be the "funny" one to cover up my physical flaws (the fatness) with my personality my "friend" taylor says im not funny. I am the oldest of 3 on my my moms side and i just found out my dad had ANOTHER kid. (my mom and dad are divorced). nobody takes me seriously when i say that i am reallly depressed because i was always the "funny" one and i have always kept that persona. I try to keep the humor going so no one can see what i am like on the inside. my dad is a total *** hole, and hes always telling me to lose weight- which only makes me eat more (im a compulsive over eater). someone help!
