father changing?? We used to be really close, I am now in my early 20s and I find it easier to sympathise much more with my mother than my dad- I know that my feelings towards him have changed for the worse. I'm not sure why or if it is a normal/temporary thing at all.

well there must be things that you dont' like and that is why you are growing up and have found them out. i know you have not said all in this letter but that is ok it sfor you to know. your mom is the one bearing all this and that is why you have sorta sided with her.

have your parents had marital issues? You may be reflecting your own feminists distaste for men, your own romantic issues, as a generalization to all men.

i guess it is normal to be close to your mum than your dad is it because he did something bad or your mum is nicer to you than your dad??
