PLEASE HELP! i NEED ALL THE ANSWERS I CAN GET!?

okay. im 14. Goin into high shool with a bunch of my freinds from my middle school. I have glasses. I kindve like them.. I need them. But im rly confused. I dont know how my freinds will react. I heard stories of people who are mocked becuz of them. Also i no girls arnt big on them. I dont have great other fetures eather. Im freaked out about hi school to begin with. This rly scares me. I need all the help I can get. PLEASE HELP. Ps i had glasses for a few years. none of my freinds know) And PLEASE just dont schold me (UR VISION WILL GET WORSE! U ONLY HAVE 2 EYES! THEN THEYRE NOT TRUE FREINDS) PLZ REAL ANSWERS

Dude i just finished my freshmen year, and its not nearly as bad as u think its gunna be. Don't worry about your glasses, nobody cares about them but you. You'll do fine.

My real answer to you is that you're worrying too much about a simple thing that has nothing to do with who you are. When your friends think of you, the fact that you wear glasses is the furthest thing from their mind. They will think, "Oh, yeah--Aaron (or whatever your name is)--he's that guy that skateboards (or plays a certain computer game they like, or laughs a certain way, or tells funny jokes, or WHATEVER)!!!"
Honestly, your glasses won't detract from how people view you. Just try to wear them, try to act confident and happy, and do the best you can to be a good friend. Nobody would ask anything more of you than that. If someone makes fun of you, don't be hurt by it--they are obviously the one with the real inner problems. Good luck, and hope you enjoy high school!

Glasses aren't the big deal they might have been in grammar school. By the time you get to high school, people are looking at different things.. like whether or not you sit at the 'cool' table for lunch, how much you paid for your jacket, what kind of cell phone or what color iPod you have .. you know .. the IMPORTANT stuff..

They probably won't notice your glasses. And if they do, they will forget in about 5 seconds. They won't risk teasing you about them because the rest of your classmates know that teasing someeone about glasses is 'sooo third grade'.

I would say MOM DAD I WANT CONTACTS! Lol...glasses I think are not as bad as they used to be. They have really good looking ones now! Some guys even look HOT in them, and them some don't of course. It just depends! I just recently got contacts, because my son kept grabbing mine & almost breaking them. They were really expensive also...I got the Prada brand! I love my contacts now. They are monthly disposables and I can sleep in them! I just need to take them out once a week per my Dr (but I forget most of the time).

If they don't like it tell them to kiss your butt. I used to think that way untill I had to get stronger glasses because I would take off the ones i had anytime my friends came around. I finally got to the point where its like if they don't like it it's too bad for them.

there is laser treatment which maybe your parents could get you it goes out patient. or you can just go with glasses i mean it snot bad and alot of people aren't gong to say nothing most likely they wont' its just fact of life and all know it. you will be ok and then when you see first day how they are you will be ok i know.

trust me no one in highschool makes fun of you for wearing glasses...i just graduated highschool...your friends will notice your wearing glasses the first day and wont even notice by the end of the week its not a big deal.
