He's 19, Caucasion, Christian, well-spoken, educated, middle class, and has suddenly taken to looking and sounding like a street bum. His friends are similar. WHY would someone want to talk like a person from a different culture and emulate the values which are foreign to our culture? This is making me nuts.

I walked in on her crying her eyes out while talking to an ex-boyfriend a couple months ago. She made up a huge and fabriated story and lied about who she was talking to. I found out, only, by looking in her phone log and she came clean. Then she lied about talking to him a couple of more times; until i confronted her with proof. I work with him and whenever he is away from his desk, I am unable to reach her. Yesterday he was gone all morning with no word. She was "away from work" yesterday morning as well. She called me at 12 noon hysterical and mad at me for any and every issue we had. I also saw her number on his desk phone. She was trying to reach him in between calling me. He eventually returned to work and then she agreed to see me. And then, 2 hours later, he runs off again. She is now 'having dinner" alone and is "staying with a friend" tonight. Am i crazy for not trusting her. I have no solid proof. Just an undeniable gut feeling she is with him.

ok, i've known my bf for about 2 years. i love him soooo much. but i met him through our parents, he lives in a diffrent state, about 4 hours away. sometimes he comes and visits or i go visit him maybe every other month, or every 3-4 months. my dad and his mom dont get along anymore so i can only go and visit him w/ my mom, who works. i love him so much and i dont know what to do. its hard to talk to him cause he gets grounded a lot and my mom doesnt like the fact that i like him so much so she limits our phone calls. i just like him so much and i dont wanna get hurt, i dont wanna break up w/ him.. but i just dont know how many time i can say hello and goodbye to him w/ out my heart breaking....any advice...and only serious anwsers plez. thank u.

Be honest or there's really no point in me asking this (and it is annonymous of course).

Are you predjudiced against fat people? Would you consider going out with a really big girl/guy if you really liked them but they were big? Or would you consider dumping someone if they put on a huge amount of weight? Do you think they'd still be attractive to you?

OR are you on the other side of this as the larger person? I'd like your point of view too.

I'm asking because I was watching a programme about people who's partners had left them after long relationships because they didn't like their weight gain. The point of the show was to point out how shallow these people were as the person they met and liked was still there no matter how big they are. I THINK IT ULTIMATELY SHOULDN'T MATTER, but, I have to say that if my husband put on loads of weight I wonder if I would feel the same because being physically attracted to someone is an important part of a successful relationship.

You know how you have a circle of friends, male and female, and they seem to take turns being couples...kinda like serial dating where one girl will be hooked up with John, then she'll go on to Jim, next it's Pete..sometimes more. Most of the people I know seem to be okay with this. It grosses me out! Am I too uptight? How do you feel about this?

She's 17--will be 18 in a month. I have another daughter (8 yo) at home, and well, it is wrong that I am relieved she left ? I love her and I want more for her than she is choosing, but if everytime we have an argument or discussion she does't like, she either leaves or threatens to leave, then its just a power struggle--"play my way or I take my ball and go home" kind of scenario. What do I do from here so that we don't end up lestranged and not talking to each other until one of us is on their deathbed?

Me and my partner want to have a baby, she is divorced, but the father of her 2 other kids, says that he does not want his kids around me, if I am pregnant, because I will be a bad influence for the kids. Because I am not married.
I love her kids maddly, and he is just getting excuses because he just doesn't like, besides in the divorce she won the custody.
Should it be a problem, please let me know what you think.

My wife of 11 yrs has agreed to try again after a nasty separation of almost a month. We have two children. The problem started when she met someone on yahoo answers that really "ignited her fire". She dropped the bombshell on valentines day 07 that our marriage was over due to this freak in miami who obviously likes wrecking peoples marriage, he persued and expressed his undying love for her knowing her to be married, "Cheers Shaun the firefighter". Anyway she says she is willing to try again but is still spending time on the internet, and recieving emails from a male friend upto 11 oclock at night.
Is she just having a laugh or is she going to stray off down the same route?
If the Internet had nearly wrecked my marriage, I would certainly be willing to cut this out to make a go of things. Should she, Is she genuinely trying?

I'm this guy who has had problems with my second wife of 10 years.I have a daughter from my first marriage that she doesn't want me to see because she tries to monopolize my time because I work alot of hours, especially on weekends, when I'm away from work.I met a woman online from another country and I'm online with her most everyday .We talk at least 3 times a week. She has visited me regularly in this country.I have fallen in love with her and now she is moving here to be near me.She is 14 years younger than I am,is much more exciting,is way more attractive and ,and I feel as though it's time to get away from my situation at home.My girlfriend is single, has no children and doesn't want any,so it works for me! Women from other countries are more loyal, less bossy, and will generally take care of their men more than most American women will do.That is my gut feeling.........

For instance someone you have had to end a relationship with due to them letting you down, cheating on you, lying to you, having a drink problem and getting verbally abusive, and promising never to do it again, and then just doing it again,
Or someone who has treated you badly and broken your heart, someone you could never trust again

I just need someone to please give me encouragement to get through this, because I don't know that I can. If you have ever been through something similar, then please just respond to this. I just need someone to help.

My fiance has two children from a previous relationship, aged 14 and 7. His ex-girlfriend cheated on him, and left a couple of years ago, taking the kids and moving straight in with another man. Despite this, things had seemed to be going relatively well since, my partner has always, and continues to meet his financial obligations towards the children, and also looks after them 2 or 3 days each week. The issue has been that his ex seems to be extremely jealous of the good relationship he has with his kids, and has increasingly tried to cause problems between them. She frequently tries to cause arguments, or say hurtful things to the children like that their dad is trying to steal them away from her, that he doesn't really love them, that once we are married he will forget about them etc. My partner and the kids feel very upset whenever she does these things, is there anything we can do to help the situation?

I look at the blue sky,the heavens above.
I pray to the lord that he show me some love.
I know he's with me, but sometimes I feel so alone.
I push forward cause I know one day he'll take me home.
It's like I take 4 steps forward, and 8 steps back.
I struggle,and struggle,but I can't seem to get my life on track.
so used to the hustle, and the thug life, now I'm trying to do this 9 to 5.
It gets hard because my defenses are up, and I still think I have to be slick to survive.
am I victim of the streets? just another minority that life beats?
I'm trying to be better than that, but it's not as easy as pulling a rabbit out of a hat.
I try so hard, I make progress, then life pulls the card.
But I know when I wake up that it will be a struggle today, so I take precautions, and hit my knees to pray.

I've not spoken to my close female friend for 4 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. SHE ONLY WANTED TO BE FRIENDS!

We met 3 WEEKS AGO at a friends party,we spoke a lot,but she still looked hurt+uncomfortable at times.

I asked her if I could add her as my friend on Facebook(via email)THATS ALL I ASKED,NOTHING ELSE.She wrote bck: asking how I am,what she done on her wkn and said I can add her "as a friend lol"

I said how I was and asked NO questions about herself-

SHE WROTE BACK AGAIN, saying I should be having fun with the ladies and to join her appreciation society!Wrote back saying I've been having fun wth other girls-too much fun!(which is the truth!)

She didn't reply-though I asked how her dancing is going-WHY???

I'm shocked and confused as she said via txt 4 weeks ago that the FRIENDSHIP IS OVER!!!Did she mean what she wrote in the txt???

Why she resume contact?

A man from a carpet agency came to measure our floors. The instant my mom opened the doors to let him in he said "Cox!! How did YOU get that name?" My mom said she got it from her husband. So he came inside and started measuring the floors and started making "small talk." He started talking about how he hated mexicans ( My mom is mexicican and my dad is black) and how they are taking over the country and shouldn't be here. Then y mom said, trying to ignore his comments " We were thinking about intalling trim because we are gonna sell the house in about three to four years, do you know how much that might cost?" the man answered, "Well, I have to tell you, its pointless to install trim because YOUR people dont look for that sort of thing so your just waisting your money." My mom didn't really know how to respond because at the time she was watching my sister and two other little boys and they were running around playing with a ball. Then the man looked at the picture of me and my sister
