Sometimes I get the feeling my friend likes me, but I keep telling myself it's not possible. Whenever he sees me he smiles - a proper, face-lighting-up smile. He sometimes smiles at me across the room for no particular reason. When we're walking somewhere he walks really close to me, but I might be imagining that. He'll often sit next to me, either when we're at friends' houses or at church (where I know him from). Recently he's started apologising if he doesn't sit with me - saying things like 'I've just got to go and talk to ...' when I'd made no mention of him sitting with me. I talk to him a lot, and sometimes he asks me questions like when my birthday is. He tells me a lot about himself and his family, and has confided in me when he's had problems with one of his friends. He'll always talk to me when he sees me, and sometimes I get the impression he's trying to be close to me or coming to things because he knows I'll be there. He's shy so it's hard to tell what he's thinking.

What thing or things do people always, always assume about you..that you wish that they would stop, get a life, and cut it out!!?

For me, I really wish that my mom would believe me regarding keeping secrets...I think that she is so much better, but, I don't blab any family secrets to people...I have learned to keep my mouth shut...so that my family and friends can honestly trust me!!

Also, I wish that people would take me more seriously...I feel as though people just kind of laugh at me, behind my back...and think of me as really immature!I wish that I had a lot more respect!

I'm 28 years old. I have been with my fiance for 6 years. We have a 2 year old daughter and another due in the summer. We plan to marry by the end of the month. Lately I have lost attraction to her and haven't been enjoying myself in the bedroom with her either. It may have to do with that fact that I have met someone from my past. this other woman and I have been dating now for almost 6 mos. We seem to have so many things in common and have a great time while we're out. I am very attracted to this "other woman" and lately I have noticed that I really care for her! I think all the feelings I have towards her are developing into love. She knows about the baby on the way and the soon to be wife at home...but stills wants to be with me; and me with her.
I dont know what to do in this situation. I have almost considered calling off the wedding and running away with this woman. my heart and emotions are just all messed up.
Anyone have any idea what to do in a situation like this?

Its Mothers day on Sunday and I love my mum to bits. Only problem is I'm skint and can't even afford to buy her a card. I would feel really bad not giving her anything but I don't know what I should do. PLEASE help me!!!

she is really struggling to cope at moment and has started drinking, she picks her kids up from school and has already had a drink, i have spoken to her and am worried that she will end up losing the kids as her behaviour is a bit erratic, the kids are running ringsaround her and she is not coping, i do have the kids over to give her a break and they are good for me but she is not giving them any stability at the moment, just any suggestions would help, i tried to get her to the doctor but she wont go i just want to help her through this and see her come out the other side, thanks

My mum knows that my partner and I have some finacial problems but i still dont want her to go without on mothers day! I have bought her card but i dont have enough to get her a present! She is a very practical mum and likes things she can use again like clothes or she would love a spa treatment!!

My boyfriend broke up with me on january 1st and we have been talking and he says he still loves me and that since we are apart the love is growing stronger.I miss him so much.but he has a girlfriend. I pamper him like a baby, treat him like a king.... I run around in circles to please him, cook for him, I make it a point that he looks neat, clean, well groomed; all the time. I understand him like not even his mother would... I found out he's cheating too many times and forgave him. Isn't that enough? He swears and promises he wouldn't do it again, but agin it happened. I know him more than he knows himself... that's why it's really difficult for me to just turn my back and walk away coz i know he needs me. but... what about me? We have been on for 4 years and a few months... I guess I am afraid to let go... I guess I feel humiliated and embarrased of myself that I did not succeed this relationship... what do you think? what do you think I should do? Maybe it will help you answer this question if I tell you things about myself: I am a very sweet natured person. I don't nag, I don't even know how to yell or scream or shout.I am past 40 and he's 7 yrs younger. should i give up? HELP!!
