No, sometimes it could be something that you do or say that is unique that could impress her. Something different from all the other guys that makes you stand out, a poem, hand-written letter, something personal. Honesty, personality, and being yourself should be all that you need to impress a girl.

its not necessary for you to be a good looking guy so a girl likes u.. its not about face...
as you said you are good in character, studies and sport.. these are good qualification , just work on them and show her that you are something important , smile when u see her and be yourself, am sure she will notice you someday =)

No, that's not always true. Haven't you seen Beauty and the Beast or Shrek? Women fall for monsters! LOL! Don't worry, most women care about height rather than looks.

trust me on this kid. Men fakll in love with women that they are sexually attracted to. women eventually become sexually attracted to a man that they have fallen in love with. 3 things, reptitition (seeing her at the same place all the time, like the water fountain, etc.), ask her to do you a small favor or 2 (psycholigacally it works), and 3, be funny.

as long as a guy isn't socially inept, then girls won't be too mean to you regarding your looks. You have to know how to socialize with people, and by that I don't mean being creepy or nervous. You may have good intentions, but if you don't know how to act and present yourself in a likable/tolerable manner, then good luck.

Easy. Show the girl your good character, good sport, good sexyness in body (if you have that) but don't show your good studies. It would suggest that you are bragging.
