I've not spoken to my close female friend for 4 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. SHE ONLY WANTED TO BE FRIENDS!
We met 3 WEEKS AGO at a friends party,we spoke a lot,but she still looked hurt+uncomfortable at times.
I asked her if I could add her as my friend on Facebook(via email)THATS ALL I ASKED,NOTHING ELSE.She wrote bck: asking how I am,what she done on her wkn and said I can add her "as a friend lol"
I said how I was and asked NO questions about herself-
SHE WROTE BACK AGAIN, saying I should be having fun with the ladies and to join her appreciation society!Wrote back saying I've been having fun wth other girls-too much fun!(which is the truth!)
She didn't reply-though I asked how her dancing is going-WHY???
I'm shocked and confused as she said via txt 4 weeks ago that the FRIENDSHIP IS OVER!!!Did she mean what she wrote in the txt???
Why she resume contact?

p.s. only want friendship-nothing more.I've gotten over her now(after another girl!).Only asking if this is positive in terms of FRIENDSHIP - not romanticly!
Also-resume contact: i.e. in asking how I am, when I just asked permission for me to add her as a friend.

well look, im in the same position as you. i like the guy but he just likes me as a friend. dont get your heart broken. live it through, you'll meet someone new. or you could tell her and risk her hurting you again.
girls are genuinely flirty...the 'xx's are common, i totally do them constantly. dont analyse what she does too carefully. you'll drive yourself mad.

Problem is she knows you are not being truthful with yourself. You don't just want to be friend, never have never will. She just doesn't like you that way, you need to move on and never contact her again.

maybe she got jealous when you talked about other ladies and how much fun you were having, even if she did not want you that way b4 she might now because you don't know what you want sometimes till other people have it
