It is my wife's birthday and is just starting (past midnight now). Wanted to celebrate it well but didn't go well. Had bought a couple of things for her birthday but didn't give (planning to give in the morning). Didn't buy things which I really wanted to gift her. Am confused and not very happy. What should I do ?

Women like surprises. Show up out of the blue with flowers and a stuffed animal.
You sound really sweet and have given it a lot of thought. Although you feel bad, it's her birthday, not your pity party so don't let her see you upset, it will just upset her.
Good luck!

She loves you she will love anything you get her. Cheer up you can always buy her things regardless it's her birthday or not. You love each other, that is a gift. Keep your marriage strong and best of luck to you both.

Give them to her, and tell her the truth. "You know, I got these for you, but I changed my mind and I'd really like to get you.... instead. Which would you prefer?"
If she's a good woman, she'll be happy with your thoughfulness either way.
Materialistic bitches who get up in arms over presents that aren't "good enough" can't be pleased anyway.

Write your feelings down for her. Its better to tell her how you feel then to keep it bottled up inside of you. Good luck!
