You know how you have a circle of friends, male and female, and they seem to take turns being couples...kinda like serial dating where one girl will be hooked up with John, then she'll go on to Jim, next it's Pete..sometimes more. Most of the people I know seem to be okay with this. It grosses me out! Am I too uptight? How do you feel about this?

No, you are not too uptight, always go with your instinct. They will probably regret it later anyway. I would not like it either and you know sooner or later all the girls will be called easy or something like that, even though all the men did it too.
