I am having a hard time finding happiness within myself. I just recently went threw a painfull break up after a 14 year relationship. I know that I am a wonderful good looking person. I have wonderful children. But I just can't seem to be happy. I would love to be in a relationship, but I don't want that to be the reason I am happy. I would love to be happy within myself. How?

This is actually my husband's niece - she is 11 years old and has never had a very good role model in life. Her mother had her when she was 16 and she has never offered her anything but food and anger. Her mother seems to think that children need no advice or love, and she's always put the men in her life (quite a few of them) before her kids (there are also two younger boys). My niece sees this - her mom is never happy and alienates everyone until she finds a man. And even then, she's only happy when he's around and she gives him every bit of her attention. So the problem is that my niece is now obsessed with boys, and she's just told me that she's "in love" with her mom's latest boyfriend. Her mom has been with this guy for probably 4-6 months and moved in with him after about two weeks of dating, taking her two boys with her. My niece lives with her grandma - who's pretty much raised her anyway - which is a little better than living with her mom. What should I tell her?

During last years of high school I went to a friend's sleepover. We were dancing about and drinking etc. I must have been laughing so much that I trickled a little 'pee' out of my tinkle!! Anyway didn't think anything of it. I was wearing grey trousers (quite tight fitting).
Then here comes the embarrassin part. A few days later my friend brings in the photos, and shows them around her buisness studies class before I see them!!
Next thing I know I have people laughing at me saying I peed my pants!!!! AARRGGHHH!!!!
My one friend musta knew what had happened and was trying to cover it up by saying it was just a shadow!!
Later that day in Geography class, I put my hand up asking to go to the loo. This boy who was my ex at the time shouted out ''Let her go Miss, you never know you could have an accident!! The buggar!!!
How embarrassing??? And that was 10 years ago nearly!!! hahaha

I broke up with my bf few days ago and i can't cope...I love him and I miss him so much that I have this constant pain in my chest...I've tried keeping my mind busy, talking about it with friends, doing things that I usually enjoy but nothing helps...I can't eat or sleep...and can't stop crying...He is doing fine, he's out to clubs and bars every night meeting new friends...I tried to talk to him cos we'd always talked about everything but it seems he's turned into a totally different person...it's like he just doesn't care anymore...He only said that I should move on and go out more...But I've already tried it and it doesn't work...I'm desperate...I just need this pain, at least the physical one, to go away...does anyone know what might help?My mind is stuck on him and all my body hurts...it feels as if there is a knife inside me tearing me apart...anyone been there?

We were eating at Acapulco and we were just looking at each other eye-to-eye. She seemed as if wanting to say something to me, but she couldn't. Tears started to roll down her eyes. She then told me that she sometimes doesn't want to see anyone not even me and that she wants to spend some time with her friends. She also told me that she wanted more space. I then told her that that was no reason to be crying and if she wanted to break-up to tell me right there and then. But she began crying more replying that I went too far by saying that. I just don't understand her. Please help me find out what she is trully saying to me...Please...

My partner of one year just called me to tell me that his friend X is losing his job. X brags he has 7K in the bank for just such a rainy day. X has a history of taking advantage of my partner's generosity. As a result, I cannot stand the guy. X says b/c of losing his job, he and his partner and their dog may need to stay with us for a few days as their lease is up soon. My partner called to tell me this and I just lost it. I feel that X needs to act like the 32 year old he is and get on with his life rather than trying to move in with us for an unspecified amount of time until he is, "back on his feet." His partner is a doctor by the way and X has no debt beyond a car note.
Plus, like the lease ending is a shock?
So now I'm mad at my partner for his naivety & he's mad at me for my lack of charity. Does anyone else think this situation is insane? AM I justified in being pi**ed off that M is assuming we will just agree to let him stay with us? Remember the 7K savings!!

My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 years and we are expecting our first child. When I say we don't plan on getting married, people always reply "oh your poor baby" and things like that. Why, I don't get it? Is my child any less loved for her parents not being married? Is she going to suffer some how? Do not say she will feel different because many kids come from unwed families. We plan on being together forever and if we are does it matter that we are not married. I believe a home is built on love and we have that. We act "married" we just don't have the piece of paper. Please don't say we are living in sin either, because I will bet 90% of the poeple who say that had sex before marriage.
BTW we are not married because I would rather elope and he doesn't like that idea, but I won't spend a ton of money on a wedding. Also, neither of us like the idea that if we are married we have to pay more in taxes. I guess we are kind of fighting a small battle with the system.

However, he asks for my girlfriend and I tell him its me and he justs hangs up. Shes lying right by me but i dont really say anything. Im like "did he just say what i thought he just said?"
Now i cant get in touch with him(3 days now). A coupIe of days later I tell my girl what happened and she claims she was drunk at a club the week before and was giving out her number but accidently gave out mine to someone. My friend just happend to be that guy(small world). I'm positive They have never met before unitl then.I'm also pretty sure he was sloppydrunk when he called or he would have known he was dialing me.
I've known both of them a very long time. My friend is like a older brother to me and has been there through some really rough times.
I love my girl too. Were old childhood friends and the first girl I kissed.
What should I do?

My friend is 19 years old now, but between the ages of 5 and maybe 9 or 11 (she isn't quite certain, she doesn't like to think about it) she was molested on several occasions by two of her older cousins. After on incident, one of her molesters looked at her and said, "You know you aren't a virgin anymore, right?" Is this true? Can you lose your virginity when it is TAKEN from you?

My boyfriend & I have known each other for 12 years-always been best friends. About 2 years ago, we started seeing each other on the sly (while we were both cheating on people) He broke it off with the girl he was seeing but I continued to see my boyfriend at the time. He got fed up that I wasn't making a decision one way or the other & became interested in someone else. He told me all about her, I don't think anything ever happened but he wanted to stop seeing me & maybe try something with her. This all happened about a year ago. Now we are together & live together. I recently came across pictures of the two of them from that time (a year ago) and they were dancing & having fun.. Nothing incriminating. But it bothered me SO much to the point of making me physically nauseas and sick! She was the one that grabbed his attention while he was angry with me--it made me jealous to see them having fun. Do I tell him I snooped? Do I have trust issues?

It doesnt make any sense to me, its like they are pigs, why cant they just be happy with who their with and just leave the hoochies behind? And they wonder why woman question what they are doing if they are going to be late? What is the matter with them? We woman are very simple creatures, we love pleasure, depending on some woman, we love money too, we love a hard working man to help support. And we love to have good time while the babies are at home with the sitter. Most times we love the attention. But other times were in a grumpy mood and dont wanna be bothered. And that includes that it has nothing to do with them. I know im missing a few things, but i dont wanna gab too much either. I just dont understand why men absolutely have to look at that when were right there? Are we not good enough, or? I know their men they are not dead, but honestly, as a female, it doesnt enthuse me to see a man like that. I just dont get it i guess?

I am 21 yrs. old and pregnant by my b/f who is a lot older than me. He has a 15 yr. old son who is a slob. Im not working right now so I stay home, and I clean the house and what not, but I feel like Im not getting the respect I deserve by my b/f or his son. His son leaves empty boxes in the cupboard/refrigerator, dirty dishes in the sink which we have a dishwasher and load it up each time theirs a dirty dish, but his son leaves it in the sink. Its not ever just one dish either, he will have tons of bowls and spoons, etc in his room and then put them in the sink. I recently had to take care of it and their was moldy milk all in it. He will leave crumbs on the counter, food out on the counters, etc. He NEVER cleans up. I talk to my b/f about it, and he doesnt do anything about it, and says nothing to him. We got in an argument about it recently, and I still ended up cleaning up after him. His son has no dicipline what so ever. What should I do?

OK, here's the situation. I
've noticed that everytime I leave for work my boyfriend looks at naked pictures of girls on the internet. It's not so much porn or videos but just naked girls posing different ways nude and exposing their you know what.

I accidentally came across it in the history files once and now I check all the time and EVERY single time I'm away he looks at this stuff. I don't think it's lack of sex in our life....for example, we'll have had sex and the same day once I leave for work he looks at the naked pictures.

What does this mean? I brought it up once a few weeks ago by making a joke and he just laughed it off and it never got brought back up again. This bothers me but I don't know whether to make an issue of it or just pretend that I don't know what he's doing at let it go cause apparently most guys look at some form of porn. Please let me know why he might be doing this and what I can do about it...

Although I know that I am the only one who can make the decision, I want others advice on the situation I am going through right now. My baby's father left me when I was two months pregnant, and needless to say, left me heart broken. When iw as 7 months pregnant, I met a wonderful, good-looking guy who was there from me from that day forward, even went with my to the delivery-room and helped me deliver my first child, my son, Payton. Although I am very thankful to this guy for all he has did, I realized after I had Payton that there were still major feelings for my ex who I had a child to. Not just because of the child but because I was still very much in love with him. The father of my child, Ben, wants to be back in our lives and has made efforts to make me believe that, and although he has a lot more to prove, I feel like I cannot let Chris, the guy who I met when I was pregnant, be strung along when I know I love someone else.
