I am committed to my significant other, but I don't hear the music when I'm with her. In addition, when I'm with the other person who is not my significant other, I hear a symphony. Please share your opinion and the reason.

my brother is my best friend and usually we talk about almost everything. he's got a high stress job, difficult ex-wife, and custody issues with the kids... he is an excellent father and brother, but the stress is too much for anyone, how do i tell him i want him to go to therapy? he needs a break as he is always the "go to guy", i'm afraid for what could happen if he doesnt find a better way to handle his stressors...

I have always wanted to make my parents proud of me, especially my dad. I dont get to see my dad that often so every moment i spend with him is precious and important to me. I was recently talking to him about what i wanted to do when i get older. I told him that i really wanted to work with dolphins, orcas, and other sea animals. Science is not my best subject, but its not my worst either. When i told him that, he looked at me and said you better rethink that. I asked why and he said because your not good at science and this is life and reality. He basically told me i couldnt do this. Then he tried to cover it up by saying not to crush your dream or anything. I realize that not everyone's dreams come true, but everyone has a shot to make them come true. I want this but now im let down by the one person i want to be proud of me. Should i do it and prove him wrong or should I give up??? Im really hurt by this. Nice comments are appreciated. thanks for all advice.

Is it better to charge an annual subscription to use a website that is filled with practical day-to-day money off vouchers or to simply let people download them for free?

These vouchers would be for money-off local restuarants, Kid's stuff, shopping, things for the home, leisure activities, etc.

So would you make more use of the site if it was free to use, or do you think that if something is free - it has no value?

I've been in love before and I remember that in the first times the only thing we want is to spend as much time as possible together. Well I'm in a new relationship now and there is a new variable it's that it's long-distance.

Well I really am deeply in love and he says he's too but everyday he seems to have a good reason not to spend time together. Has to do this or that, go there, etc (I am not talking about his work here - just free time, and I am positive he has no double life).

I told him that this dind't work for me and I would rather go back to being friends but he reacted very badly and I really felt he loves me and wants to make it work.

But since then he started again his 'busy' style. Today we spent like 10 minutes together :( What do you think people is there any valid reason for him to act like this other than not loving me or something?

Any input both on WHY and WHAT to do next would be greatly appreciated!

My boyfriend and I are saving every penny to get our own place before I have my baby(3 more months). So money is tight, but his 24th birthday is coming up on April 8th. I was going to get him a camcorder from best buy, but with all the extra tapes and batteries and mem. sticks, it ended up almost $600. So there must be something out there that we could use as a couple and still not spend more than I or we have to. Soo...100$ or 200$ tops, what would be good? Lots of ideas are helpful...thankyou...

we have a mexican girl 23 years old that has been working for us for the past year. she speaks no english at all. she works 11 hours a day and is the only mexican there along with my mom and cousin. i try to converse with her to keep her from being bored but conversation is somewhat difficult. i know some spanish because i took 3 years in high school. we had some decent conversations before and i try to talk to her everyday. she only speaks when i talk to her and never talks to me. if i dont speak to her the whole day she will not talk to me. she is not a shy person. . should i just stop trying to speak to her.

that she likes the same guy i like...and is now bff w/ the girl she claims to "hate"...what should i do..im talking to her and telling her that this is wut i think and being truthful w/ her when she abrubtly says.. "i havta go"..and hangs up.
im just so overwhelmed cuz she wuz the 1 trying to get us together (me and the guy)..and then she met him and talked to him..and wuz talking about how nice he wuz..
