the older one wanted to see all her friends at the boys n' girls club, and the younger one wanted the same! my question is: how could i get so lucky with all this time to myself??

Well go out have a ball dont drink they dont want a drunk smelly mom to go back to
go shopping
clean
watch your favorite shows
catch up on some exsersising cuz you want to reamin the same chick guys fall in love with LOL
Also take a long hot steamy bath with your favorite drink in a wine bottle soak in the water fill it with bubbles
put on some slow jams
and gurl let your hair down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having time to yourself is good, but if you are a working mom then you are not spending a whole lot of time with your kids already.
So, I would suggest enjoy some time to yourself, but maybe go up to the boy's and girl's club with your children and spend time with them and their friends as well.

Heck, I am forced to spend up to 6 weeks at home with my kids, I broke my ankle and I cant do anything but lay on the couch and put foot up, dont get me wrong I love them and really enjoy spending time with them......but I am already going nuts being at home all day. I can not stand to not be doing something. My daughter clings to me but even though my 7 yr old son always said he missed me, well I am home and guess what he does,,,,,,,goes and plays with the neighbor kid from the time he gets home from school till It is time to come home.....well. when I go back to work, I am going to hear him say "mom can't we spend time together!!!

Let the kids spend 3 days there. Then the other 2 days do something with them. They are only young once!

Remember what you do now with your kids will ALWAYS be remembered by them as 'lovable' moments - even though they don't see this now they will see it when they become parents. So build up that relationship with your kids- tell them its family time and that they will have 'friend' time later.
