Before you can expect your ex to forgive you, you need to take care of your addiction - why do I say you have an addition? Because you lied about it, you say you quit, however you are in treatment. Treatment is not a guarantee that you won't relapse. When you come out of treatment you need to continue going to NA meetings, all the support groups you need to in order to ensure that you stay sober. The minute you let your guard down, along will come an excuse to use again. Also, don't let her hold this over you. I know your family is important to you but you can't take that on your shoulders right now - your focus needs to be on you staying clean. Hopefully at some point she may be willing to participate in your treatment such as group therapy for families of drug users. This will help her learn how to deal with your actions. But you must stay clean - don't ever lie about it and do everything possible to get your life straight or you will miss out on raising your son. I have just been through 15 years of living with a drug addict - I couldn't help him because he wasn't able to help himself. I did everything possible but I just filed for my divorce. He is a sinking ship and I couldn't go down too - I have a daughter who doesn't use drugs and I need to put my energy into her. Don't expect too much from your ex until you have enough sober time under your belt and your actions show that you intend on staying sober. Then she may reconsider things. Good luck.

Read the Big Book of Alcoholics anonymous, the Family Afterwards. It will take a while for her to "forgive" you, but right now that is not the issue. You are in treatment...why? To get her back? If she doesn't come back then what? You will use again? Huh. Sounds to me like you are on the right track, but there is a lot of action that needs to be taken on your part before you can become a productive member of your family and to expect her to take you back after the insanity of addiction...Get a sponsor, go to meetings, get a big book, and don't use between meetings. Trust God will give you what you need and the rest will fall into place. Good luck and Keep Coming Back.

Dump the drugs and hit the floor my friend. This is important enough to ask God for help. Over and over again.
I'm serious. Nothing on this planet is as important as your blood. Answered prayer doesn't come as tens and twenties and it doesn't come overnight. It does come though. He will help you.

Tell her you are sorry and you will never use drugs again( you have to stop useing drugs dude) not just for your family, but for yourself. Now of days they are putting chemicals that will kill you in drugs. Also pray, prayer do change things.

the only thing that you can do it to show her that you've changed and that she can trust you it will take awhile so be patient.
