Ever since my son married, his wife always found fault with our family. She claims she never starts any trouble, but constantly insults my cooking, and criticizes my daughter and is rude and arrogant to myself and my husband, and could not understand why one day I finally got upset and told her what I thought of her being disrespectful to our family. I love my son, but he said he had to choose us or his wife, so now we never see him anymore, and he wont even call us. I, his Mom is hurt more than mad, and my daughter is hurt as well since they always had a good relationship when they were growing up together. Im not even allowed to see my grandson. Ive even apolagized for the time I got upset with her, and she still doesnt want us in their life. Im hurt, but I leave them alone. What would you do?

Me and this guy were dating for a month and 9 days. I fell in love with him before we even dated and now we are just best friends. Because why lose the great thing you once had right? Well now he is always talking about this other girl and it makes me want to cry. It hurts to hear him talk about her and tell me how beautiful she is and how he just wants to hold her in his arms. I want to tell him how i feel and ask him to hold off on talking about other girls for a while until i can get it together. Im scared to tell him and have him freak but i cant deal with it. I still love him with all my heart. What should i do?

Well I used to be shy and sorta outgoing and reserved. And now this semester I got over myself so I've been very open and honest letting the real me out. Well it's been freaking a lot of people out and the students think I'm just desperate for attention, which I'm not, I don't care about attention and don't crave attention, I just want to socialize. I don't do anything immoral. Sure I may have a sense of humor and write jokes on people's board and post sticky notes all over the dorm floor area.

I have very few friends that accept me for who I am and they tell me that those people just not used to the change and me being so open and out there.

Should I just go back in my shell? Because my worst fears came true; people freaking out and hating me for who I am.

I'm not selfish, when someone is uncomfortable and I know it I'll stop, I just love to have fun and be around people.

Even the resident director is asking other students what's up with my behavior.

Well, the scenario goes like this...I met this guy at a gym club I attend.I wasn't really attracted to him, but he seemed really nice and comforting.Everytime I would see him, he's always come up to me and see how i was doing.I notice there was a ltlle flirting action going on, he gave me his cell number and when I called him he told me he found me to be VERY Attractive, and that if I ever wanted to hang out ot go to a movie call him, so i finally did three weeks ago..and all I can say is that he hasn't been positive.I told him that we should hang out, he tells me in a couple of weeks because he has no money, then i call hima few weeks later and he tells me that he's busy, maybe next week, I text message him to see if we were going out still, he tells me that some things came up, and he was suppossed to hang out with a few people, and he'll let me know he was free...so I'm feeling very rejected.,and I don't know why all the distance from him, when he intiated the "hanging out

well today i woke up @ 8 in da moring.
and watched tv first i watch nbb then i played my game! then i went outside and jumped on a.
trapalin then i ate ice cream then i took a long swim in da pool then i drowned and dad had to help me from dieing.............
then mom made dinner she made a nice
meatloaf with fresh saliad with bacon bits and ranch dressing and a side of corn and gravy
and mashpotatos ...........it was da most goodest dinner mom ever made oh yeah and me and my older sister stacy fighted over da cotrols
i wanted to watch blues clues and she wanted to
watch that's so raven wind up is dad came and watched football i never win my sister alway's
wins all day i forgot to put shoes on
i went to school with out shoe's
it wasn't that embaressing some people should ry it it's very natural?

My business partner, best friend, roommate and sometimes lover will not discuss what do do if he were critically ill or if he should die. I think it should be in writing and that I should have access to it. I do not know the location of his will, or who his executer or administrater is, nor has he made provisions to continue to pay his share of our expenses, even if only temporarily. He has blood relatives who live distantly and are not known for the kindness and caring they extend to their elderly or sick family members. He has NO children. We are fast becoming elderly and have been together since our early 40s. I told him if he continued to refuse to confide in me I would not notify his next of kin if he died giving them the opportunity to walk all over me with their hand out. I think he is being thoughtless. Is the position I am taking outrageous?

It doesn't matter if you are married or not - sometimes I just want to pack up and leave as it seems I am an unpaid maid. Do you think Men (in a live in situation) overall don't see the negative effect on the relationship? Or are they happy to be lazy until we get fed up and leave or pick a fight? How do you handle this, and has it worked or was it a short term fix?

I have a friend for 9 years and she was in a bad situation in terms of finance, she broke up with her boyfriend and she had nowhere to go. I talked to her and I said she can stay with me. At the same time my place were on the market for sale. She found a job and she moved in the 2nd bedroom. I forgot to tell you that there is a move-in move-out fee. In the meantime, my place got sold. I offered her not to get any money from her since she was tight. She started looking for a place for herself when I was getting prepared for closing. Couple days before she moved out, I told her that there is a fee for moving out that was put by condo association. In the meantime, she wanted to buy my bed frame and matress. There was also another bed she used in the other room. I asked her to ask the movers to transfer the other bed into my room since she is buying my stuff, She made a face and started a bargain if it is okay to transfer only the matress but not the box. What do you think? A real friend?

Okay, so i've been with my fiance for almost five years. I would say our relationship has gone pretty well, but lately we've been getting into really big fights, and he always has a bad attitude. He snaps my head off for anything I say, he's just always mean.
We do have two children, and we are great parents to them, we give them lots of love, and they don't ever see us fight. I guess my concern is that he's only staying with me for the childrens sake, and I don't want to live like that, is this a stage a guy goes through? Is he feeling like he's missing out on something, is he waiting for me to break up with him? I'm confused and talking with him just leads to another fight. What do you think? If you have any negative comments about me, please don't respond.

she will not tell me why or my other children. I honestly do not know what I have done to have her fell this wy. My only guess is that she does not like me being with her stepfather.(We have been married 17 years) Hard times started about 1 year ago when I left my husband after I got so depressed I wanted to die. We have gotten alot of professional help since together and as individuals.
She was not happy when we got back together. I don't know if I should honor her wishes to wait for her to contact me or just keep trying to try to talk to her? She asked me in Dec. to not connact he and that when she felt like talking she would call me, and that as an adult she could pick who she wanted to have relationships with. I love her and miss her and my granddaughter, Any advice???? I am afraid to make this even worse and truley would do anything to make this better between us if I knew what. Do I give her, her space to work it through and honor her request or should I try to contact her?

I have been dating this guy going on a year now and I moved down here in May of last year he never wants to go no where with me I ask him sometimes lets go to this place and he always gots an excuse we dont go to the stores together or anywhere unless we go over his friend house but if his friend ask him to go to the mall or something with him he is all for it. Also he has kids I met the little boy but never met his other kids we stay together and when he hang out with his kids he dont bring them here because he is worried about them telling they mother where we stay at I love this man but it seem like he is letting his kids mother dictate his pace I talk to him about it but things remain the same what would you do? I had a situation back after Christmas we were looking at this grill and he said I was going to buy this for you but my baby mama was with me at the store and I asked how they ended up at the store together he said he gave her a ride so she could get the kids stuff help

I hade one before, and then eventually my mom said I had to delete it becuase she thought I was going to get raped or kidnapped. I only had friends who i actually knew, like my best friends, and people from school....
I want one again, Its so easy to stay in touch with everyone on it. I would keep it on private, and only talk to people that I actually literally knew. I'm afraid to ask her, she's very strange about things like this.
