If a female who is 18 has concentual sex with a 16 year old male in Arkansas what are the consequences?

I am 18 and my boyfriend is 16 and his parents just found out that we have had sex. Problem is they want to press charges. I dont know what to do and my research on the internet is not helping me out in any way.

Wow, that's a tough one. Each states laws are so different on these things. But I would bet that they couldn't press charges because you are only 2 years apart, and him being 16, he isn't a minor. Plus it was consensual.
