how do you control a 16 year-old brother, when he is in a TEMPER?

Remember, I am younger than him. How can I also get him to stop swearing at me? He is very lovable sometimes and sometimes he is so dumb that he just laughs uncontrolably for a small silly joke. PLEASE give ideal suggestions!

You cannot control someone older and stronger when they are in a temper. I suggest you remain calm, tell him you will talk to him when he's calmed down and remove yourself until he has. When he's swearing, stay calm and simply say you find his language unacceptable and will not have a conversation until he stops using bad language. With so many things it's a matter of telling someone what you do, or don't, find acceptable and tell them what you'd like instead.

For one thing your brother dosnt want to be controlled he is looking for attention or he frustrated with everyday stuff.I would suggest is say nothing and just let him hear himself .I he gets no reaction eventually he will not react the same way either.it works have patience.then when he is not so crazed you could tell him how it made you feel not pointing the finger at the same time.gl

have your parents had him tested for ADHD cause he sounds like he is . I would sit my parents down and talk to them and see if they can get him some counseling .
