Me and my hubby are temporarily staying with my in laws to save money for a house, they are always making plans for us. For example, recently, they invited us to go out on a boat (at night) and since we have a newborn, we declined because it is way too cold, etc. We did not want to go. They went out and found us a babysitter...it was a girl we knew, however, we already told them we did not want to go.....since they went through that much trouble to get a babysitter, it looks like we have to go! What should we tell my in-laws? Is this upsetting to anyone else or am I over reacting????

One of the gifts i am giving my wife, daughter and son this Christmas is to quit smoking. I am on day 5 without one. My nonsmoking buddies say its mind over matter but can someone help me on how to pass the gravings. Im on Nicatrol patches already.

I have recently got back in contact with a friend i used to be close to in comprehensive school! we havent seen each other for 9 years and now she is coming over to see me tomorrow with my xmas prezzy! What would you suggest i get her? It would have to be something for her and her partner but nothing too expensive! Just a token gift! She doesnt drink alcohol and doesnt really like to eat chocolates! Im stumped! i am working til 5 tomorrow and she will be over at about 6 ish! I wont even have time to go into town!!

I am one of those overly nice people. Even when I have a justified reason to be mad about something I supress it because I don't want to be mean. But I have reached my limit. I am the only person in my household who works for a living, while my husband is the caregiver of the family and my brother is temperorarily staying with us and job hunting. My gripe is if I am earning the bacon so to speak then why is so unreasonable that they keep up the house. I come home to a dirty house every day and it is infuriating. I have nagged and nagged and finally said to hell with it and did it myself and then it isn't maintained so a week later it is a wreck again. How can I get it through my guys heads that they have to do this, especially since we have a little boy. I don't know how to make them do it and I am getting to the point that I am just going to blow up at them.

Okay so me and my b/f have been together for 8 months now and i love him so much. But he hates dogs and i love my puppy and i dont wanna ignore it to make him happy. He gets mad when the dog is on the couch with me or sleeps in the bed. Well i have had the dog way before him and the dog is used to that and attached to me. So what should i do. He said that he can't live with me if i take the dog. But i don't wanna give up my dog and my b/f is stubborn when it comes to this. I don't wanna have a bad relationship or ruin our relationship ova this but i also dont wanna disown my pup either. It is attached to me and i love it like a child. What do i do?

I am a guy & recently broke off with my bf about a month ago quite bitter about a lot of things, including him waiting for a girl to come around while he played with my feelings saying he loved me all the time, which he did for three long years until this girl came into his life and he had to leave me for the sake of society and his future with a woman than with me. I have forgiven him 4 what he did and we met recently, where we had a closure of sorts...with promise to be in touch. He left town last weekend. I decided that I will not be the person initiating contact from my end. Last three days, he has called me everyday just to check on how I was doing and generally chat about daily stuff, something that we used to do while in a relationship, except words of endearment that I still miss a lot. I dont think I am completely over him, but am trying to move on. But each time he calls, he leaves me thinking why did he call? Should I encourage it or not take his calls or pretend being busy?

i broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years we have a 3 year old daughter together. when i left him in june i told him to make sure he be there for our daughter but he hasn't. he always say he's coming to get her and don't come. i only see him when he's giving me a $80 child suppport check other than that he doesn't see her, but when he do come see her one day he will wait another 4-6 weeks to call or come see her. do u think it will be wrong of me to tell him she don't need to go with u or talk to u because ur only hurting her not helping her so i would rather for him to stay away because when he wait for so long to come see her she says my daddy don't even come see me. but i have been dating someone else and he is constantly spending time with her not just financial but emotional so do u think i will be wrong to tell her dad to stay back until he get hisself together.

So me & my b/f have been dating for 8 months and we are deeply in love. But he is 18 and i am 20 and he still is a lil immature with some things and i am dealing with it. But some things are still gettin on my nerves. Like the "sex" thing. Yes i am more experience than him and he wants to try things and have a lot of sex and i rly don't care for that anymore. My parents just split up. I´m 14, and I´m visiting my dad for one week. We´re staying at my granmother´s house. I did not want to come on this trip, and from the first day I got here I started to hate my grandma and my dad because they are so rude to me. My Dad was so cruel to my mom before the divorce and I can´t seem to forgive him for it. Then two nights ago my dad got drunk (he usually gets drunk) and we had a huge fight. He included things like ´your brother is going to stay with me´and ýou can go whenever you like´. (By the way, my mom has full custody.)I would have gone already if it wásn´t for my little brother. If I take a plane trip without him, I´m afraid he won´t come back on his own beause he loves my dad, or my dad will kidnap him. I´m also afraid that if we both go before x-mas, my grandmother will get so upset, she will never speak to us again. I´m calling my mom three times a day to let her know what´s happening. I want to get away so badly! What do I do????

my partner of 6 years left me 2 months ago for someone else thats not the problem ythough the prob is that he dont want nothing to do with his kids only on his bday and eid as he is muslim i told him he cant just c them when it suits him he has to consider the childrens feelings they r 1 n 4 his new girlfriend has 2 children and he is with them all the time but now he is threatening to take me to court because i wont let him have them this eid coming i dont want him to see them if he is treating them like something he can pick up and put down when he feels like it my eldest went to nursery and said she wanted to change her name as she has his last name i didnt know this until the teacher took me to the side and told after nursery finished! he has even told his frieds and family that its me who wont let him see the kids he dont even phone to see how they r but he will ask his friends how they r so that it seems he is interested what can i do? can anyone give me any advice

What is wrong with women? I work in a department full of women and a 4 of them are catty as hell.

One likes to gossip about everyone and she is very rude and bitchy to the other women.

Another one WHISPERS to other catty women and talks about other women at work! Why can't they do their jobs?

Why can't women stop being like this? I have never met a guy that is catty like this, men don't go whispering about their co-workers like women do.

Men may gossip or act rude, but not to the extreme like women!!

Why are so many women catty?

A guy friend said this to me last night on MSN because he had been being a jerk lately, but the next day he hardly replied to me (on MSN) and signed out without saying bye.
This is what he said:

And why is e beng so mean one day after saying this?

I don't know, but do you think maybe he only apologized because I told him that some people at school were making fun of him (and he wanted to find out who it was)? Do you think maybe he only 'pologized so I'd tell him who ws backbiting about him?

He's a sophomore, I'm a freshman. (High School)


P.S. He didn't flat out apologize. I first had to explain to him what he had done.

Question Details: I'm seriously stressed. I am in leadership at my local church and my pastor's wife has come to me with some problems.
